I will return to write an in depth review once all endings are complete.

For now, just buy this masterpiece. It's THAT good.

Dark Souls III is a harrowingly, hauntingly beautiful sendoff to an absolutely BELOVED franchise that will break your spirit, and your heart. It is also absolutely WORTH IT.

I'm not gonna gush over this game's mechanics, plot, pacing, world building, environments/interconnected level design, creature design, utterly brutal difficulty curves/spikes and MUSIC, other than to say;

If you are curious about this genre AT ALL, there is no greater jumping off point.

Enjoy, allow yourself a little patience, and may the flames guide thee!

10/10 would parry Pontiff into oblivion again.

INSANE Rougelike. INSANE bullet hell. INSANE-ly cute and hilarious.

141 hours in and I've probably unlocked 2 thirds of this game's content, talk about BANG for your buck.

You can also pet the dog 10/10

Excellent setting, world building and gameplay at it’s core. Graphically phenomenal and with physics to match. The shared universe is a joy to be in, for the most part.

VERY repetitive, sadly.

I am also FUMING that the game’s achievements are so buggy and do not pop even when completed, that I cannot attain 100% completion. Till the day these are properly fixed, I do not personally recommend. So much grind for nothing.

Aside from that, you’re getting a solid game here. Enjoy the ride, and take control.

Trepang2, A True Spiritual Successor To F.E.A.R.

Game straight slaps. A very high octane and very violent fps that is carried by its meaty gunplay, well crafted combat arenas and abilities that serve chaotic fun above all else. The story is a little on the lighter side and the game length is only roughly 8-10 hours, but garners more than enough intrigue to keep you blasting onward. There's quite a decent amount of spookage and things I won't spoil here too, which I honestly really dug. The atmosphere is intoxicating.

*Dual wielding
*Bullet Time
*Sliding into foes to send their ragdolls flying
*Kicking blokes in the head mid air to send you flying back in the air
*Grabbing enemies and launching em (nade pin optional)
*SPAS-12 TURNING ELITE SOLDIERS INTO PASTE

This game hits all of those F.E.A.R combat notes perfectly, and then some. Accompanied by a pretty breakneck score and intense enemy comms/screaming, you've got a solid but inspired fps recipe.

That being said, this gory, fast paced n fluid, gorgeous to look at, VERY fun fps does stand on its own two legs as a great shooter, even if those legs are planted on the shoulders of F.E.A.R.

10/10 Would Visit The Backrooms Again.

This is beyond trash. An entire game of RNG with servers that cannot keep up. The real RNG is whether the servers are dead when you log on.

Only a few hours player so far, so I'll drop my initial impressions and update later down the line.

It goes without saying that this game looks incredible, it's beautiful visuals drawing you in instantly. Better yet, the game is tremendously well optimized, enabling many average rigs to run this game maxed out.

Haven't progressed too far in the story for obvious reasons. However, this is mostly due to the game having masses of things for you to see and do, most of it replacing or refining the tedious tropes that have plagued the FarCry series for so long such as radio towers and repetitve crafting/fetch quests.

The map is HUGE. I mean HUUUUGE, and appears to hold many many secrets and places of interest, which I can't wait to discover. Combat is fluid and responsive, giving you a feeling or real impact whenever your arrow pierces an artery or you cave somebody's skull in with a pipe.

Everything I have seen so far, common trope or not, is so well refined and fresh that I totally recommend this game to any fans of this franchise and even those new to the series. Games are supposed to be fun, and I believe the fun is only just scratching the surface.

p.s the soundtrack is B A N G I N

So far, 11/10 would kill a driver of a moving vehicle by throwing a baseball bat again
