Once you hit HARDMODE, I promise, you will NEVER stop nutting.

The most fun I've had in a videogame to date, and it just keeps on giving.

IT SHOULD BE WORTH £100 A COPY 100000000000000000000000000000/10 WOULD CLENTAMINATE AGAIN

Early Access Review
Not recommended in it's current state. Sure, it's fun as hell, but it's the most broken piece of ass you can buy right now. My specs absolutely demolish this game, yet it's constantly breaking and crashing, failing to render 60% of the time.

Now this isn't just me, this is an incredibly large portion of the playerbase who, although having incredible specs, get rail d by this cobbled together garbage.

Yeah Bois let's focus on creating an economy for a game that we promised we would'nt do till it was out of Early Access.

10/10 for fun
1/10 for functionality.

The Metro franchise holds a special place in my heart. I owned both 2033 and Last Light on the Xbox 360 upon each of their releases, and played them endlessly. Replayed both Redux versions on pc, and in light of the recent wonderful announcement of Exodus, the spark has once again been ignited.

For those of you that are interested by the look of this game and don't know too much about it, Metro 2033 is a harrowing tale of the apocalypse, set in the heart of Russia. In 2013, we saw WW3, and when the bombs inevitably fell the denizens of Moscow fled to the Metro system to seek shelter. Fast forward 20 years, and here we are. The surface is a frozen nuclear graveyard of the world before, home to horrifically irradiated creatures. The Metro, is filled with arguably worse, us.

If you're gonna pick up these games, then Redux is your only worthy option since it looks downright gorgeous and it improves on a lot of the original's gameplay features.

Both games feature solid, satisfying gunplay, an incredibly bleak and compelling storyline complete with morality choices and optional story arcs, and an terrifyingly depressing atmosphere that never lets up.

Though a linear FPS, each chapter has a plethora of areas to explore, bringing supernatural terrors and contextual tales of Russian lives gone awry.

I'll try to keep this relatively short, but this game is nothing short of a masterpiece. Don't wanna ruin the surprises for you guys, but if you're a fan of the end of the world, then please, buy this game.

Prepare to face the most advanced, terrifying AI this generation of gaming has ever seen.

The original Alien feel• check
Incredibly gorgeous visuals and blood curdling sound design• check
Intense, immersive story built with a solid cast accompanied by a symphonic score• check

This game will make you ♥♥♥♥ yourself over and over, and tensions get increasingly high over this roughly 20hour nightmare.

The only con I can truly bring to light is the repetitive and tedious nature of the game's final act. Tends to feel overstayed, and interest could be sacrificed as a result.

9.9/10 would break my monitor in fear again

This is hands down the worst game I have ever played. The netcode is cancer
The servers are cancer
The season pass is cancer

This game is bleak. Unfathomably bleak.

Its bleak nature is primarily where it excels, allowing players to forge their own tales of pain and misfortune. Every single day is a huge struggle to survive with next to no supplies to work with, forcing you to make horrifyingly tough decisions.

This game will make you question your luxourious existence and will bring harrowing insight into the world of war.

The only real pro is that the initial sighting of the creature is creepy, but the game quickly decends into 'slender territory'. If you have half an hour to spare then check it out, it is free after all.
