There's just to much dialog and base management for me to get focused on the card play, which is what I came for.
And the card play, other than interacting with objects, didn't seem that interesting.

This was a real treat to play.
The progression, balance, music, and battles were all really well done. I didn't expect to have as much fun as I did, but here I am agreeing with everyone calling it a hidden gem.
It's definitely worth full price for anyone looking for a good party RPG with some jammin' tunes to battle to.

This really is more of a neutral review.
The game was alright, but I'd only recommend it for a dollar.
It's incredibly short and not very complex.

Short neat puzzle game with chill jazz music.
You'll either solve the puzzle in 10 seconds or 10 minutes, rarely in-between.

It's nice to play a rougelike town management game. Each run feels good and, while you still grow attached to your town, it's nice to create something anew each run.
All of the game mechanics are solid though punishing. If the core game is to difficult, there are a lot of other play options that aren't as brutal.

The dice reroll/RNG is what really sets this game apart. You can choose a riskier dice that has a great ability 2/6 and bad 4/6, or you can pick a mediocre die with a 5/6 o-kay ability.
Deck construction comes into play by how you manage your turns by counting on a steady stream of mediocre plays, or risking negative effects in order to land some powerful punches.

That being said, the dice faces are not intuitive at all. Prepare to read every face you get... every turn you roll. This made the initial start of every game a chore, until I finally got the hang of my deck 2/3s of the way through.
I feel like with the massive amount of single abilities, the game would have worked better as a card game so that SOME information could be displayed, or at least have more information on display instead of a random symbol on a cube. Still, it wasn't a bad experience.

Everyone needs a little Mario experience in their lives.
This is a perfect bite size example.

A neat little boat game.
Go out, fish, cast nets, dredge stuff up for people.
It's definitely a chill gaming experience.

Crashes on my PC, but loads on my laptop.
The tutorial flashes by before you can read it, then the game switches to spanish text.
From what I could tell, the game didn't seem that fun anyway.

The TD looks and plays great! For any purist it'll definitely scratch that itch.
However, I just didn't find it particularly engaging. It plays more like a puzzle game due to the lack of meta progression. You turn your head one wave and you're dead.
