Feels like a Fast Action FPS, not "bad" its right on that line of Above Average and Good, the story is fun, the open world is great, you'll have moments you'll laugh, moments you'll say oh s**t.

The world is big, lots to see, lots to do, weapons etc are good, vehicles feel a bit weird (stiff?).

You'll feel that you got about 85% of your monies worth. I do find it better than the first in every way, so it's a good worthwhile sequel.

I do recommend it

Great game, great graphics, solid sequel in series. I know folks were upset over the removal on the steam store but don't let that stop you from playing.

Brings back memories of Civilization 2 where you'd get some natural disasters, very clever how they used the "present modifiers and post modifiers" of disasters.

28 years later and I can say this would be the Civilization II replacement I remember (add space?)

Plays like Farcry, has good story moments, others it just seems to want to push some weird political correctness agenda which 4 hours in ruined the game for me. If they left that s**t out, it would be a good game but using games as a way to push some populist agenda Democratic message.

Couple friends messaged me, when I say political correctness, I mean they really want to push some gay/women strong vibe....over the top, for me it was go bad it ruined the game. Play and youll see it, moments I laughed then other moments I was like....really? was it needed? its now about NOT being open minded or whatever, its a game, hollywoods already ruined most movies and always need to play this PC generation, reality is more people "dont care" you dont need to make it a center point, people just want to live on and the developer using this as a method to deliver some message? Keep it out, were gamers not politicians, you don't game much from our group.

Big game owner/collector here and few titles bring me back to my old hobby, Metro Exodus brought me back (Normally I'll play for 10-15 minutes, if I don't enjoy it I just stop playing it), in this case, launched and played for hours none stop till I completed the game.

Using a pair of 2080 TI RTX cards in SLI, the game ran perfect buttery smooth at 4k G-Sync with everything maxed out, graphically beautiful game (the weird blur added by the nVidia features are ok but hard to get use to, though my understanding of it, the game implemented it very well). So graphics, 9.5/10

The story, is crazy good, I normally get sick of the chats but the game did it well, story wise a perfect 10

Game play: perfect 10, it always feels like what you're doing has value, I never felt like I was grinding.

Customize Weapons: I'd say a 9/10 here, they could have had more weapons but I'm not really that picky, I guess being able to carry 1 or two more would have been awesome, I didn't like being stuck with the air gun the entire time......

Environment and "Stuff": 10, wont spoil it for people but theres moments youll go OH F**** or you'll sweat for a moment or two.

Again, perfectly well done game.......not many bring me back

The price suits the game imo, its a good game don't get me wrong but the depth is somewhat lacking and its mostly just point and click. I feel my 10-11 hours were well spent but replay ability is missing. I've owned this awhile and between my Metro Exodus and Far Cry New Dawn stint I took a break with this. As I said, change of pace, it was good (Again with there was more depth, but anymore and you're basically into Empire Building and Managing).

Good game that fits in the "other" category.

Love reading the reviews about "Better games in 2000-2010", this game was 1995 and in 1995 is was actually "technologically" superior to most other FPS games, it was the first that allowed looking up and down as well as jumping.
For its time it was a phenomenal game and at a time when there weren’t 100 new games a week it had a lot of replay ability, there was custom maps (on 56k modem that took about an hour to download each and you lost your phone line while downloading).
Again, based on the time, great story, great music, it came during a time where Lucas Arts was on of the few companies making PC games and tried to always bring something new to the table. As with some other reviews yeah, its old but it’s a game with a story, many games today are great looking and have stuff to do but they miss the story, or they miss the fact they’re a game.
Still a must have for any real gamer, people complaining I mean, they re released to people can add them to their collections and allow those in the more “spoiled time and age” to enjoy what the old crew enjoyed.
If you’re writing a review to say its old and not graphically great, then honestly there’s something wrong with you, it’s from 1995……and for 1995 this was actually pretty freaking great.

Gamers these days will never appreciate what the "Old School Gamers" started with. Even today, though it doesnt look technologically advanced, it's a game and a well made one. The story was great, the puzzle solving was fun and entertaining, the music was great. Everyone should have it and late gamers should buy it. Total classic and a must have.

Everything about this release was right, the marketing peaked my interested, the screen shots and videos. Starting the game it was a little slow at first (I personally hate being forced to watch story clips), but I ended up holding on to every minute, the main story is awesome. It’s fun, it’s busy, lots to do (not a huge fan of flying and the Nixon stuff though).

The games fun, dynamics are good, there’s always something going on. The hunting and side missions are fun.

Sounds and graphics are great.

Story again is awesome.

The pace can be slow, but I think they made it this way so you get your money’s worth. Only found a few moments of boredom.

Few gripes, NPCs can sometimes get in your way, end up not covering so you spend more time trying to save them (and they end up dying).

Destiny was the only other game that recently kept my interest for a long period of time, Far Cry 5, for the game, the story and the fun was a great “next” game for me. If you like FPS games, you’ll enjoy this, if you like light rpg, you’ll love it. Great game!

If you're looking for a fast paced and fun arcade style experience you can't go wrong with this title. I've invested over 6 hours and looking back I don't think to myself "I'll never get that time back". No regrets. I know it's $40+ dollars but it's good quality game, and I feel I got my dollars out, besides by buying I hope that it translates into better VR Titles like this one
