I'm really not one for card games, but STS is awesome. It gives you a huge amount of freedom in how you build your loadout, and mixing abilities with attacks makes the combat super entertaining. Dying isn't actually that big of a deal, because if your loadout is weak enough to die, you'd likely have not made it through the next encounter after the one you died on.

There's a lot of content to be had for the game's price as well. Definitely worth for full price, even better if you can get it on sale.

Game would be fun in principle, but I find the ball has a pretty unenjoyable amount of inertia, input lag, or some other factor. It's not very fun or precise to control.

I'd recommend checking out the old Marble Blast games if you want a good version of this title.

The core gameplay mechanics here are great, it still feels like Halo but sportier and modernized for PC controls. Weapons are fun to use, despite being a bit lacking in varition.

The issue is absolutely everything else. Game launched practically in a pre-alpha state. Predatory monetization, matchmaking was entirely broken for months, the amount of content is laughable (all unlockables were cut to be incorporated into aforementioned predatory monetization,) and Microsoft has made excuse after excuse as to why they've done next to nothing since launch in regards to content or support updates.

Player count is peaking at a couple thousand only a few months after release, even Halo 5 didn't fall off this hard.

There's also still ZERO anticheat in Infinite, a f2p FPS. No idea what someone was smoking to think that's okay, but ranked matchmaking on PC was completely destroyed a couple weeks into the game's lifespan.

Halo as we know it is dead unless someone other than 343 gets their hands on the IP. They've done nothing but drop the ball time and time again, proving they're not capable of handling it.

And the worst thing is, beneath all these layers of suck the game's actually pretty good. If it was developed by a more competent studio it would have been the biggest/best Halo game of all time.

would be a fun lil FPS game if not for the fact that at least 2 people are blatantly cheating in every lobby at all times

Gameplay is largely fetish bait. Doesn't really have much in terms of content gameplay, but it's fun for a few bucks.
