In a category that has recently been flooded with copy cats, vampire survivors somehow still manages to hit the spot the best out of all competitors

Lame-ass cringe-ass "it was all a dream all along"-ass game

I wanted to like this game, but seeing the most recent update I just can't say that the developers themselves understand how the game works and feels...

Hasn't been updated in ages and content is barebones

Great story with even more interesting dialogue system. I just wish my choices mattered more

I am not usually the one to cry during movies or games, so the fact that this game broke me down says a lot on itself

Worth every penny

As long as you treat this game as a *puzzle* rather than a RPG Iron Danger can be quite an enjoyable experience.

EDIT: After a month passed since I finished this game, I saw it in my library. I can't remember a single plot point. Nothing sticked out. Take that as you will

Is it a decent game? Of course. I really wish i could give a neutral review. Alas, I dont think it is worth the current price and there were couple of gameplay aspects that annoyed me:

* The story itself is fine for the most part, although the forced romantic interest didn't sit right by me and it did feel a bit short

* The resource management part was annoying at best - it offers no strategic challenge nor was it fun by any means. It felt more like an after thought filler to make the game longer

* Assigning officers to missions was an interesting idea at first, but I believe it was implemented rather poorly - it is always pick and match situation ("talk with someone" = pick social officer; "beat someone up" = pick strong one) and again does nothing to improve the game besides making you try to figure out which officer represents which skill (since the game does not make it easy to wrap your head around what your people are good at to begin with)

Overall, it is an alright *visual novel* that tried to draw inspiration from games like "papers, please" but ultimately took some wrong turns during development

It offers enough challenge and replayability to keep you coming back time after time
