The reason why this is not available for download anymore is because it's now available when you purchase the base game for its 20th anniversary update! Go get it! It even includes Episodes 1 & 2!

The reason why this is not available for purchase anymore is because it's now available for free when you purchase the base game for its 20th anniversary update! Go get it! It even includes Episode 1 and Lost Coast!

On top of that, if you already owned this prior to the 20th anniversary update, any achievements you've earned here will automatically be unlocked the next time you boot up the base game!

It's acceptable, but the Steam port isn't. Download GZDoom and copy/paste the HEXDD.WAD file into the GZDoom folder if you buy this. GZDoom is safe, free, and doesn't even require installation. It even works with Heretic and Classic Doom.

Though, there's no music due to a bug. It may be possible to fix in the Steam port, but probably not for GZDoom. Keep that in mind.

The reason why this game can't be purchased anymore is because the original Quake II has been remastered. Go check it out! This expansion pack is included in the original Quake II for free now!

This is what Five Nights at Freddy's should have been like, honestly.

When I was a little kid, I recall going through CD-ROM games that were in my dad's computer room; one of which being Quake II. Although the game can run and show a couple attract demos without the CD, I spent a lot of time watching them. But I was scared to actually play the game.

With my dad by my side, I eventually started playing the game. While probably not the first FPS I recall popping into a computer, it was the first FPS I ever truly played. Nowadays the base game is easy (for the most part), but it made for great training for me as I played through the whole game three times, once on each difficulty setting (No, neither of us knew Hard+ was a thing, nor did we own either expansion pack until we discovered Steam).

And here we are now; the game had been remastered 26 years after its release, for me to re-experience once more. It even includes the two brutal expansion packs, a new expansion by MachineGames, and even the Nintendo 64 campaign.

Nowadays, I'm more of a Doom fan, but Quake II was the game that started it all for me. I've had some good memories, such as constantly fighting the final boss, and even an instance where I performed my first-ever rocket jump, simply because I sucked at jumping. I've explained it in a screenshot I've uploaded.

God bless my dad for introducing me to Quake II, and then later, Doom.
