The age of the game means nothing. I still play Warcraft II.

People who claim this is the best game they've played in years have obviously been playing the same Pinball game that came preinstalled on a 133mhz Packard Bell PC their whole lives. The game industry is so stumped on why people get hacked games to play them instead of buying them. Because of people leaving stupid reviews that don't actually review the core of the game. If you get excited by playing Tic Tac Toe by yourself, please stop leaving game reviews.

Broken tutorial that you can't get passed(says build a squadron, built a squadron, couldn't progress). Bland story. There's more voice lines in Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries that came out in what, 1995? You want how much for a 7 year old game? LOL I got it for free and i still don't want it. Save yourself 40$ and find it for free if you want to experience a headache.

Things the Dev needs to consider changing:

-Can have the cops called on you for just standing on the sidewalk because you're blocking a NPC walking. its 3am, go TF home....
-Not being able to grab a ledge and climb up
-Running off the edge of a hill/rock/roof will make you go straight down. even while running full speed, you have to literally jump in order to "jump" off a hill or rock, where as going so fast should propel you off an object. it does not. There is no physics for momentum
-No way to automate stripping a car. That's so flippin' tedious i can't hardly stand it.
-Wonky AI and being tasered through a non slatted wall.
-Tons of NPCs wandering the street between midnight and 5am. Everyone is a homeless crackhead apparently.
The last house has the best security, but doesn't hardly have any good loot. What a rip

This game has a ton of room for improvements and content. Apartment complexes/Businesses would be great. Allow mods so players can create their own content and allow the game to prosper. Perhaps even add Co-Op thievery mode or competitive. Not a bad game for 20$, but there better be some updates and additions that aren't tied to paid DLC, because the game is missing some great elements that need to be looked at first.

I can get over Microtransactions.. Sorta.... I can get over grinding... I can get over weird sync issues between video and audio sometimes in the story FMVs... I can even handle a DLC Character you can pay for or play the game to get... EVEN Forcing players to be online at all times to be able to gain rewards....(this is pushing it)

How-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-Ever... I cannot get over a Mortal Kombat title NOT being "shipped" having Stage Fatalities. And they want $39.99 for a Kombat Pack? The drugs are real.

Its not really a down vote to the DLC itself but the game.

Great new perks for both killer and survivor! T H I C C Jane and a morbidly sexy Priestess who will vomit in your face and you will like it.

The negative is for the new Emblem system. If 1 or 2 people DC, you will depip as both killer and survivor. This makes killers tunnel people off the hook even harder. DS was changed to an anti-tunnel perk and if the killer runs Enduring, it will utterly eat the DS perk and make it useless to run.

Playing solo is a depip-fest when everyone acts like a sissy and DCs on their first down.

Winning as survivor involves playing in a SWF and learn to bully the killer.
Winning as killer solely involves hooking players and praying they don't DC because of your mori offering.

Post 1.0 Release Review

Feels sorta like the original, but its not. Voice acting can break the game for some people. It's also no where near as long as the first. I'm okay with that though.

I approached this game as its own stand alone and not any type of sequel.

I did enjoy the lore, new creatures, but I did not enjoy the lack of fear. A few jump scares here and there, but the only fear for me was running out of oxygen... as the first one had you scared out of your wits at all times.

Ending is okay, sets them up for a 3rd game.

I would like to say the hover bike has so much potential but its wasted by such a lack of content to use it on. Too much close knit terrain to use it properly.

This is probably the best "underwater" series to date. So it's a definite grab. More so on sale.

Beat the game a few years ago. Came back after seeing people modding the ever loving hell out of it.

Modded or Unmodded, Subnautica is truly a master piece no one else has come close to.

I won't lie, I had to get a map mod because I kept getting lost in the "Advanced" depths of the game, and I have a terrible sense of direction. Also having borderline thalassophobia did not help with this game or Below Zero.

Go slow, enjoy the grind. Scream AT LEAST once.

This actually has an insane amount of potential. I don't have a VR setup so I can't comment from other perspectives.

It's early access and free. Give it a shot.

The only real cons i have about this game is the loading time and no inventory.

Got this before reading reviews. Great concept but this has been abandoned by the dev, as with most indie games once they've raked in all the cash they can before it goes viral they're a crap developer.

Most achievements don't work. This is a deal breaker for me. Being forced to use things like SAM to unlock achievements is just trashy since you can get banned in alot of games for using it.

Dev doesn't respond to emails. Game locks up and crashes and the achievements that track progress dont work, but in 2013 they claimed it was working.
