I keep going back and forth on this one. I think I’ve finally decided on “recommended only if you can get it for US$10 or less and you’re ok with the below description.” I initially tried to refund it but waited too long to do so.

First off, this is NOT a RPG. This is a shooter with a single screen sized playfield in which you can get upgrades after collecting enough dots. That’s good as long as you realize that’s what it is.

The graphic style looks nice and stuff and there are multiple combinations of upgrades that can work pretty well, though I’d sewer some of the weapons are just inferior no matter what other upgrades you get. But basically the upgrade tree is pretty well thought out and is better than average for this sort of game.

There are multiple options for the controls so I very strongly recommend going through the settings. Part of the reason I hated this game initially was the default asteroids rotate left/right controls, but as it turns out this can be changed to different things like “move control stick in direction you want ship to point”.

So basically this game is good for the type of game it is, but it has been very overpriced in my opinion and I wouldn’t recommend spending more than US$10 on it. Since there’s a demo though you can always dl that and decide for yourself.
