The lack of game time is because I sadly encountered the launcher error. I was able to play the game by following the alternate solution that the devs provided. I think I spent a good 7 hours for both of them combined! As everyone might have figured, Frozen Fear collection is actually a duology of two HOGs, each with their own collector's edition, and bonus gameplay and content.

I recommend playing Ice Rose first since it's the older of the two. Even though I think Frozen Beauty could stand alone by itself, it's considered a 'sequel' to Ice Rose due to the reoccurring characters and identical theme.

Despite the launcher not working, it didn't hamper my enthusiasm for these games at all. They were absolutely enjoyable, I'd definitely say they even top some Artifex titles in terms of content and quality.

Ice Rose

Pros:
> Surprisingly somewhat well-animated 3D character models?
> Beautiful graphics and backgrounds, especially when you reach the ruined castle!
> Very fun puzzles
> I love that the protag was funny and kind of tired of the bull she had to go through, her clues were really useful in terms of directing me to the next thing
> Enjoyable music
> Bonus chapter was fun!

Cons:
> No map, or fast-travel--- I was a fool and had the tendency to go up and down the very slow elevator because I missed something
> Basically backtracking hell because of the lack of a map
> A bit of pixel hunting in terms of some objects
> The story was a little dry but it got very, very interesting at the end

Frozen Beauty

I have to say I enjoyed this one immensely. It felt very much like a very concluded fairy tale. There were plenty of different puzzles and HOs were simple enough that it didn't drive me up the wall. It was chocful of content. It was... just really pleasant compared to a lot of HOGs out there right now.

Pros:
> It was just really beautiful, there's TONS of places and things to look at
> The puzzles were entertaining and lovely to look at
> The protag for this one is just as sassy and funny, I loved how she complained about why there were so many missing pieces to the statues and the like
> Fast-travel map with action indicators (I feel so much at peace when I know I've looked in every nook and cranny)
> A little side quest hunt for coins to upgrade your pet squirrel's home
> You get to name the squirrel!
> TONS of locations so there's only a fair bit of backtracking, but they make sure that HOs appear next to when you come back to open another puzzle
> Lots of achievements to do
> Built-in strategy guide!
> Bonus chapter was really fun and was a lovely addition, it had its own locations and unique puzzles

Cons:
> The character models are really unattractive, I wish they worked on this more and maybe I would have loved this game a lot more too (especially the 3 deceased princesses)
> There's a slight quality drop to maybe 2 HO scenes, it was very apparent that the images were low quality, stretched out, and blurry that they stood out uncomfortably compared to the rest of the HOs
> Not a lot of variety in the music, and quite immemorable

Overall, I'd say this was a really, good refreshing purchase for me. It's worth every penny for the entertainment value it provided. I was more than happy to play Frozen Beauty twice to finish up all the achievements. I'm a little bummed out about the broken launcher but I'm willing to forgive it just for the quality of the games themself. Hopefully, they'll come back to this and fix the launcher.
