So far i've really enjoyed playing Hades 2
I'm writing this review with 15 hours in the game and having beaten Chronos, the new gods have been a joy to explore as well as the changes made to existing gods, the soundtrack is amazing as to be expected considering hades 1
The graphic design of the characters never ceases to amaze and the entire game being voice acted is a very nice pleasantry when going through all the unique dialogue characters have to offer.

Pets - i wish pets had a higher base charge to their tools and the resting system was explained a bit

Leveling Grasp - the scaling is very aggressive in terms of cost, my main suggestion would be to have it not swap to giving +1 grasp instead of 2 and keep the current cost scaling

Boons - a majority of boons feel amazing and a lot of the gods seem balanced, but due to the random nature of Artemis boons i feel they should be more powerful to account for that, Hermes feels like a copy paste of the first game for the most part and is kinda underwhelming, same with Aphrodite, whereas gods like Demeter, Hestia, Poseidon, and Zeus are pretty much always amazing in what they can provide no matter the build or weapon

Crops - i feel it should give three plots per garden upgrade instead of 2, once you get access to the spade you collect so many seeds within a couple of runs that the earlierish game upgrades for the garden just can't chew through it

Bosses - so far i've only ventured into the underworld, i have the overworld unlocked with the curse removal incantation already done but i haven't done an actual run up there, the underworld bosses feel rather fun, i enjoy *almost* all of them, the exception being Chronos which i can't place my finger on why, idk it just feels a bit gimmicky, I do appreciate that you aren't limited to getting a resource from a boss once per weapon like in Hades 1, the boss will always drop the same resource no matter if it's your first or millionth clear, which i find to be an amazing change compared to the first game

8/10 game so far, i really enjoy it, it has a lot of potential, and i still have content to explore, i'll likely update this review once 1.0 comes out, thank you supergiant for this sequel, i look forward to future updates!
