Membership is already expensive as it is and on the same level of other MMOs that don't look and play like they're 20 years out of date. Proposing increasing the price even more and including "features" like ads and improved customer support is simply beyond the pale and makes me deeply concerned for the future of the game. Jagex already ruined RuneScape once—they can and will do it again.

One of the best RPGs I've ever played with a great amount of diversity for builds, a deep story, and really fun combat and gameplay. It's a lot like D&D on the PC (stupid comparison, I know, especially since computer RPGs were based on D&D and Baldur's Gate exists). Best of all, this game has completely seamless co-op so you can do a full playthrough with up to three other friends--you can work with them or grief them, turning them into chickens at your leisure. A must buy if you enjoy CRPGs.

I wouldn't recommend playing this game unless if you have a lot of time (read: hundreds of hours) to get good at it so high level players won't effortlessly destroy you like a burly man stomping a puppy to death. If you do have that time (and the willingness to get crushed over and over again until you learn), then sure, go and ahead and play it, but don't complain I didn't warn you.

One of the best games I've ever played with an incredible attention to detail, a brilliant story (as games go), and fun gameplay, although the mission design is little more than "go here, kill guys, repeat." Rockstar outdid themselves with this one. I would recommend it to anyone who is into open worlds and story-based games, as it is certainly a masterpiece in those areas.

typical ubisoft game: formulaic open-world shooter in which you "liberate" regions by killing all of the local population.

fun with friends, but it can get old. i wouldn't recommend it playing alone, and would only recommend it if you don't get bored of doing the same thing over and over for 50 hours, because that's what you will be doing. the gameplay doesn't change at all, though you can upgrade your skills and stuff (faster drone, better spotting, more damage resistance, etc). was only playing for karen bowman at the end.

may have the side effect of turning friends against each other as you bash your head against the final mission endlessly, much like a particularly conscientious game of monopoly.

I recommend this game if you have a lot of time to waste on more mundane tasks like doing strikes over and over again. The shooting feels amazing, and there is a ton of content to do, but a lot of it involves repeating things you've done before. Furthermore, it's a significant time sink - you probably won't get much out of this game if you don't have a lot of time. But, my favourite thing is whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

Despite the abrupt and frankly disappointing ending, I think this game is worth playing through to the end. It builds on Human Revolution's gameplay, and is perhaps the best gameplay ever exhibited in a Deus Ex game. The story is not as great as DX1 or HR's, and the ending is obviously sequel bait, but it still kept me interested until the end. I really hope they make a sequel to this game; the hate it got was overblown, in my opinion.

I also had many technical issues with this game. The game was stuck loading a lot, and on certain cutscenes, I could not progress. I had to use a different computer in order to get past those. For those reasons, I probably won't play through this game again.

Nevertheless, if you're a fan of Deus Ex, and you've played through Deus Ex Human Revolution, then pick this game up.
