So, 5euros for a single Civilization, is way too expensive, and considered that it is also the first DLC of 4 dlcs in total of the season pass (or deluxe dlc pack if you prefer), this is absolutely not good.

Devs keep pissing me off,
after years of development, and tons of updates.

What a shame.
The idea was really cool, but is not evolving into nothing new or exciting..

Honestly, I don't understand negative reviews for this DLC.

I found this one pretty cool, much better than the biggest DLC of the season pass "Far Harbor".

You'll play in the Nuka-Cola Theme Park, which is a new map full of raiders, traps, and items to collect. There are several new quests related to the raiders (with different endings) and nice secondary objectives to accomplish, which I really enjoyed to do.

The DLC has also a bigger difficulty, so be prepared if you want to start this adventure.

REALLY Suggested to anyone, in particulary to people that love to collect RARE and particular items!!

For me it's the best DLC of the season pass.

Probably the browser game is much better (it's free!), don't buy this one.

The game is not so bad, but is very poorly optimized this version.
It keeps freezing all the time and sometimes you could have CTD.

Don't recommended.

NMS: Next is here, and...... this time my opinion on this game isn't totally negative.. it got a big improvement on the graphic side, but still didn't improve the exploration side of the game, which should be the main experience of the game.

When you fly over a planet with your ship, or when you walk across it, it's always present the feeling to be in a desolate land, but instead, if you save your game, close it, and relaunch the game, when you will reload your game you will probably see tons of nice effects on the screen, nice sounds and plenty of animals everywhere. WHAT'S THE POINT OF THIS? Absolutely stupid and nonsense.

The thing is, I still believe that this is an EXPLORATION GAME, where you should feel incentivated to explore a planet, because maybe you could find a secret beautiful spot, or you could find a beautiful creature during your travel... but you know what? I walked for 1 HOUR (60 MINUTES) across the same planet, and nothing... I had to reload my savegame to had a beautiful moment in the place I was. TERRIFIC.

But well, I'll continue to explore other planets, and do more things, before to stop editing this review, but for now, this is what I think about NO MAN'S SKY NEXT.

EDIT: stuck in the tutorial for a bug. I'm unable to build "wooden walls" because the base computer didn't give me the blueprints. This game is a joke...


After the updates v1.1, v1.2 and v1.3, I still didn't change my mind.

The reason of that, is that the camera clipping is so damn bad implemented, and is even worst that the day1 version.
That means that you'll be able just to see very near objects (like plants, rocks, animals, etc..) at, let's say... 100m?, and then nothing.. just a blurred land, similar to the TES IV: Oblivion ground.
When you're inside your spaceship, is very hard to spot buildings and point of interests, for the same problem.
I believe this is SONY's fault. They have to privilege PlayStation version, so they are limiting PC version, which is a so bad move.

This, of course, could be a not exact theory, but the fact is that if they don't fix the camera, I won't return to play again this game..
No Man's Sky is an exploration game that should point everything (or most of its resources) to the environment and the quality of graphic, which doesn't happen at the moment.

So yeah, I'll wait for the upcoming versions..

I tried to defend this game 'till the end, but honestly, if also after the launch, things are still wrong, there is no hopes left anymore at this point.

This game will be classified as one of the biggest scam ever in the PC history, and I truly believe that is not Sean Murray fault.
Ok probably I'm the only one that thinks that Murray is OK, but I believe that Sean was a simply guy who acted very bad thanks to high pressures by SONY.

So yeah, I believe that the 90% of this failure is their fault, no doubt.

Anyway.. I don't care who's wrong at this point anymore.. I'll just move on..


So, here we are.
After 50 hours of full immersion inside No Man's Sky, it's time to write my impressions about the game.

No Man's Sky it's not a bad game, and that's why I cannot put a "negative" review, but, it simply doesn't deserve the full price of an AAA game. But not for the lack of content inside the game (well, probably also that one) but mainly for the bad optimization.
I always had the feeling that I was playing a bad porting of a PS4 game, and wow, that sucks, if you know what I mean!
They downscaled after some days the graphic engine to improve the performance, since a loooooot of people got bad fps, and not only, a lot of bugs, crashes or even the chance to start the game.

I was lucky.
I got just one problem (ALT+TAB issue) fixed after 4 or 5 days, and then never 1 problem. The fact is that my PC isn't so bad, and I got "only" 30/35FPS at day 1, then after they downscaled the engine, I reached 80FPS. But what for the other people? A nightmare! That's why something like 60% of them (maybe more) requested a refund.

I didn't.
I liked No Man's Sky, and that's why of my positive review. I'm still playing and I'm still having fun to watch all the planets, the weird creatures around them and trying to improve my exosuit, the ship and my multitool. It's something that I never experienced before, and that's incredibily awesome!

But that's the problem.
It's simply an exploration game, not a survival or an adventure game. It doesn't have VR support, no stunning soundtracks (important for exploration games I think) and not even a Workshop support. So why we should spend 40£/60e/60$ for just a normal indie game with a great idea behind it?


PROS:

+ Procedural generation of planets
+ Great experience for who doesn't like space simulators (there's nothing compared to this!)
+ Side missions (scanning animals, reaching the centre of the universe, etc..) are a nice extra for an exploration game.

CONS:

- Price too high
- Bad engine optimization
- The graphic quality isn't so great at the current stage
- Is it an early access? o.O

I highly recommended this game to everyone of you is searchin' a simple exploration game without too much expectations (like survival elements, or similar), but only at half price (20£/30euro/30dollars).
For people who wanted another space simulator, downvote this review, and spread your hate elsewhere, this game isn't for you, I'm sorry!

Best Indie GAME that I've ever played.

Period.


This is my review after 20 hours of INTENSE gameplay.

RimWorld is a sci-fi colony simulator where you've to survive in an hostile stranger planet.
Everything is managed by a fantastic A.I. storyteller who creates dynamic events during the gameplay, simulating interpersonal relationships, psychology, trading, climate, biomes, diplomacy and a lot more..

A typical scenario you can have in your first game: "Your colony is formed by three mans, everyone of them with positive and negative traits. You're on a stranger planet, so you've to start to build a base, or at least a refuge for your colonists. There are a lot of dangerous things out there, such as wild animals (snakes, bears, wolves and many more) or bandits.
Once you've finally your base, you've to survive, and mantain your colony happy, otherwise they'll start to fight each other, and it's not the easiest task of the game, believe me."

Gameplay and graphics is very similar to PRISON ARCHITECTS and DWARF FORTRESS (who ispired the devs).

Actually is EARLY ACCESS, and probably someone of you could be scared of this, but there is nothing to worry about. The game is FULLY playable and BUG FREE, or at least I've not encountered a single bug in 20hours of gameplay. Very stable and light.

Scenario is procedurally generated by seed, and events are ALWAYS dynamically created, so it will never happen to have a game like the previous one, not even if you load a previous savegame!

Well, in the end, it's very rare to say in a review, that I can't find a single bad thing in a videogame, and this is one of those very rare cases.

Absolutely recommended to anyone of you who loves games like DWARF FORTRESS, PRISON ARCHITECTS, and simulation games / base-building / strategy games.

9.5 / 10 (waiting the rest of the content during the early access).

This season was an emotional roller coaster.

A videogame capable to put you in hard situations where is never easy to make the right decision, and that can seriously prove yourself.
The story of that little girl, is going to be even tough then the first season, and it's amazing to see how sometimes just a kid can help a group to stay together, even when everything seems screwed up.

Well, sometimes hugs, heroic actions and nice words are not enough.. the hardest part, is when you've to make hard choice..... and here's all about the choices you make, all the time.

That's sucks.
But that's the only way to survive.

This season was outstaiding with no reserve.
Can't wait for SEASON 3 !!

A nice game directed by the same guy who worked already on "The Stanley Parable".

It's really nice and fun, but very short (15/20mins).
But hey, it's free!! I think it's worth a run.. so what you're waiting for?

PS = Be careful, there is a very bad TIGER in the box!! :D
