the game is really fun some of the time. my issue is the huge amount of minigames that feel less like rhythm games and are basically quiz's, memory tests or reaction tests. sometimes it's a mix of these concepts but the mini games don't feel all that creative, especially compared to newer rhythm heaven clones like melatonin or bits & bops which have extremely creative and enjoyable minigames. this game is also expensive for what it is and features paid cosmetics. some features like key rebinding are completely absent so you're basically stuck with a ddr layout on keyboard.

the fact this game isn't f2p is a weird decision considering rhythm games are pretty niche and how plentiful f2p battle royales are. i don't think i played a single match that was fully populated(30 players) and i dont see many people buying this game if they aren't already a fan of rhythm games when you can play fall guys for free. the current state of the game is not worth 26 dollars and will without a doubt go free to play eventually, so if you're interested i say wait for the price to drop at least 50 percent and for the awful minigames to be cleaned up.
