Generally the game and the story are good, and the setting it all takes place in is very unique. Visually the game looks nice, however the game's performance is pretty bad at times.

This game was a lot longer than I expected it to be, it took me 33 hours to complete the main story and all of the side quests (which are worth doing, as they are just as high quality as the main quest and often times directly affect the story's outcome), and there are many other endings which I haven't seen yet. I was pretty disappointed with the ending though, at least the one I got, as it wasn't really all that satisfying for the path I chose and it felt very hastily wrapped up.

The gameplay is pretty good, though it is kind of a walking simulator. Most of the detective-esque stuff is right clicking to reveal hidden information in an area, and then clicking on it, which reveals some information, and if you've collected enough of it you will be able to come to a conclusion which will often unlock some kind of dialog with a character. Not extremely exciting, but I did enjoy it. The combat is pretty basic and never felt challenging or like it required much thought, except for the final boss fight.

Another thing I was a bit disappointed with was the lack of interactivity. At most, you can look at photos which then unlock an "admire the view" prompt near the location, panning the camera away from the regular view and showing the map from a different perspective. There's occasionally stuff that you can interact with, like "buy doughnuts" or "drink cocoa" which play a sound and show a sketch alongside some text plus give some XP, but these aren't all that interesting. There's also several times in the story where characters might try and ask for money or ask for a bribe, but this has no impact as there is no actual money in the game, which I thought was a bit strange. I would've liked if there were shops you could visit with actual products to buy from the time period that maybe grant some XP and/or give a temporary boost to a stat. I also would've liked if there were some minigames that could be played.

Overall though, I enjoyed my time with the game. I would recommend playing the game completely blind and not looking up any guides as the game is best enjoyed when you don't know what's going to happen next. I would also recommend playing the game with Polish audio and English subtitles.
