Using a research team works starting from 50 credits per month. Much more monthly research funds let's you research only a tid faster, but it works with the minimum.
(I usually run with 100 unless the park makes 4 digit income or I need something really bad. Like that one drink shop, that my park does not offer. )
The campaign maps usually don't need dozens of new inventions to complete them in bonus time. The thing is to research what is required to make the park running and achieve the campaign goals.
Let it be decoration, or shops, or a transport ride instead of looking for the one coaster type one likes.
In this regard the market research feature of the research team might be helpful as well.
At least with Parkitect, the times where I have been screwing up in the game did help me with what i'm doing wrong and how i could avoid the errors that have been made
Is that a typo? Planet Coaster has almost zero management depth. Especially at release
