Bought this game twice, fantastic game. Multiplayer component + transparent/fairer rng and some way to balance first turn would be excellent (possibly no items can be used by the first player to go)

I would go to Wal-Mart to buy food with my food benefits a few years ago. In the drinks aisle, on one of the end displays, they had those Gatorade gummies. They had such nice packaging- I don't know why I was drawn to them, but I wondered whether they would actually do anything. I read the packaging and what they contained was, essentially, nothing. They were around $10 a pack for around 10 small gummies.

On every trip I took to go buy food I would shoplift one pack. I have never shoplifted anything else... only those gummies.

It was a line in this game that reminded me, as it mentioned those same gummies. I was surprised to hear them mentioned...

Anything I try to write about the game itself I am finding insufficient, so all I can do is tell that story. You will know from the game description whether you will find this potentially compelling or not.
Do not waste your time if you just want to be mad or dismissive about the subject matter.

Excellent game, several ways to play, while there are meta builds you can have fun without them. Most of the sweaty people have moved to scrims and premades with their own self-managed MMR system, so you see them a lot less if you are not interested in seeing people go 150 - 10

Update should be soon that will change a lot in terms of balance without completely neutering medic, and making some other classes more important (supply boxes should actually be relevant now and not just for grenades, snipers, and vector medics who need to resupply before they go on another adventure who the heck knows where)

Graphics are simple but I have always had a hard time seeing in games like battlefield or cod or apex legends. This does work both ways. But it feels like I can actually notice people faster. So it is very nice for someone like me. Battlefield is basically unplayable for me because of that.

Gun balance is weird, but I have been mostly sniping and using DMRs. There is simple building (some sandbags n stuff) which is very strong and undervalued imo. If you set up a little fort in the right spot you wil llikely have less than 3 deaths, and in my case, one of them was me running out of ammo and not being able to find a supply box, so I ran at the other team with a deagle to die and respawn

They said they are easing progression- I have something like 80 actual ingame hours (i forgot i didn't close the game for quite a while, I'm definitely not at 145 hours), and I just got to level 100, and I was a lil slow because of the way I was trying to play (I probably used a DMR for about 30 levels). Level 100 is when you unlock a bunch of fun weapons, including the best sniper. Hopefully new players will have an easier time.

The game can be frustrating sometimes if you are being overwhelmed but that's part of the fun.

I think I am on #7 or so of 'snped pilot out of helicopter' one of which gave me his helicopter for free since it landed without damage. I got shot later too because I had no idea how to do anything effectual with it.

If you do not take the game too seriously it is quite fun. The discord is terrible. Do not go there

this game desperately needs a subscription service so you are not forced to pay $150 in DLC just to play for a couple dozen hours a year. As is, I can't even download maps because they require the DLC. If you could pay $5 or even $10 to get the DLC for a month, it would have certainly increased the reach of the game. Instead, you get this exploitative garbage. Sad, because otherwise, it's a great game.
