The arcade and early pc games from the 80s and 90s were only enjoyable because of the limited amount of released games back then,

People knew no different than to keep trying to progress the very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous game mechanics
Its a new age, there's thousands of games, if something pisses you off even in the slightest, the game goes straight in the bin and you move on.

No, the review isn't necessary, but it expresses my opinion on the genre that I attempted and moved on from.

Average play time for the game is 2 hours, seems like a lot of people are dropping the game

I completed the game, 100% achievements in one sitting.

There's a level called HELL, well. Let's just pray you don't have any unwoken diseases such as epilepsy

But if this was something other than STAR WARS and an old timers game, it would probably be heavily negative due to the randomness and confusion of the maps.
As well as not having a clear objective and usually searching up a walk-through.

-also maybe the guns that feel like Storm Trooper guns and we know how accurate those bullets are.

The game isn't hard to figure out what to do most of the time, but without the odd walk-through you'll be saving yourself a lot of time,
* When it turns out you have to break a window,
* Climb on an edge,
* Jump to a platform,
* and Force pull something from the environment you had no idea was possible to progress.

I've got the basics covered, the Guide on IGN is enough for me if I get stuck.

Quick Save is your friend - until you quick-save in the wrong spot and you have to start from the beginning of the level. Don't make this mistake.
I have Quick Save bound to my Mouse Button 5,
and Force Heal to my Scroll Click button which are the two main buttons I press outside of my Movement and Attack keys.

Be sure to look up some Texture mods before playing to improve the game, I got some random ones but I think there is probably a solid Pack out there that does it all.

It's one of the better MMO's I've played.

I recommend it.

Highly enjoyable for a basic game with no real objectives

A Hat in Time is probably more aimed at children,
the game is difficult in it's own way but nothing I couldn't overcome at two attempts.

It got so boring mid way, Managed to complete the game and ended up attempting the DLC for a few minutes but decided to skip it.

The game just felt repetitive, but it's great for younger players, I'm just not in my prime anymore to complete every aspect in these games anymore.

Went back to try the DLC again, completed Act1 out of 3 and got 17/18 out of the Act2 Speed Run, won't be attempting it again.
I've done all I can be arsed doing.

I did NOT go into this game thinking it was a Horror, by the same Developer of Layers of Fear.

I expected a Cyberpunk detective investigating murders using his Observer tool to enter peoples minds and find out what happened. (which is accurate plus the Horror)

As I was starting the game, and the walls would change, objects would disappear when I wasn't looking at them It reminded me of Layers of Fear.
I was thinking how similar this was to LoF. It turns out it's the same DEVS.

Soon after I was SPOOKED, and already hooked.

Observer is a great game, It's a MUST play if you're a fan of Layers of Fear, SOMA, Amnesia.
