After 3 years on positive, I've decided to flip this to negative

TLDR: SPOILER FREE:
You have access to Guns, but I never fired a single bullet in my entire playthrough.
Was it a choice? No. I'm one to follow the storyline and play my part.
You play as the good guy, you encounter misunderstood factions, but they're not necessarily bad. There was NO NEED to kill anybody.

I wanted to, but it just wasn't part of the story, unless you say ♥♥♥♥ it and ignore the entire plot and shoot every ♥♥♥♥ but end up ruining the game in the end but not even understanding the plotline.

I went from an extremely Negative review, to a Positive review.

It took me 5 hours to fix all the glitches, crashes and bad optimization, I haven't had any problems after that 5 hour mark to a complete run through including Side missions of 32 hours, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is running smooth as butter on the highest settings at 60fps using a gtx 1060 3gb with some 45fps drops in large outside areas, on a 1080p monitor.

I have fixed most of my crashes by;
* Defragging my C:drive,
* Checked C:drive disk,
* Reinstalled GeForce Experience,
* CLEAN install of the graphics driver,
* Disabled Hard Shadows in-game (apparantly causes most crashes)

I was only getting 40fps and 70% gpu usage, took me a while to figure out the Adaptive setting in Nvidia program specific settings was restricting it, I turned that off and set Triple Buffering in-game. Now I'm at 60fps/99%- usage.

I believe Deus would be more enjoyable with running through the game twice,
The first run by playing legit and stealthy, because you're the good guy;

Somewhat gameplay spoiler
So far, I've not found a need to use any guns, because there's no bad guys yet, just misunderstood factions. It's kinda boring, I've got all these weapons and ammo yet I've not even fired a single bullet.
I'm the Interpol Officer following orders not shooting fellow good cops as it's meant to be played.

I feel the game will be more enjoyable on the 2nd run when you pass the story and you can be that guy ACTUALLY using guns, and ruining the plotline due to it not being part of the story where you go guns blazing and ♥♥♥♥ up the side missions.
Because that's not ever an option.

The best!
If you've read 50+ books like I have, then don't hesitate to play the game like I did.
It was so much fun, a lot of references to the books too.

I didn't expect to get 40/40 achievements through 3-4 playthroughs either.

Also, 95% of the items you pick up are useless and do nothing.
I would of loved for them each to interact with something such as the 1988 tab from
'The Cuckoo Clock of Doom', or the 'It Came from Beneath the Sink!' Sponge.

No, it's not necessary to play this game first
I questioned it myself, and went along and played it to be sure.

The beginning took a while to get used too, I went in believing the stealth mechanics surpassed Assassin's Creed or other stealth games. I was attempting manuvers you'd pull off in the series,
Just odd little problems I couldn't grasp until I kept playing.

It's worth a playthrough, but if you choose not too, for the newer sequel Shards of Darkness, here's a spoiler of the entire Master of Shadows game story pulled from the Wiki.
Very informative and I recommend reading it if you skip Master of Shadows.

Styx: Master of Shadows

Styx hated his new form, not just for the loss of his orcish identity, but also because he couldn't shut out the voices of the elves who dwelt around the World Tree. The elves share a communal telepathic mind, and Styx's exposure to the amber of World Tree opened his own mind to their voices. Fed up, Styx decided to the steal the Heart of the World Tree in hopes of finding a cure for his condition. The problem was that the World Tree was heavily protected by the floating fortress tower of Akenash.

One of the peculiar gifts of Styx's transformation was his ability to spawn clones of himself, which he could control telepathically. Styx used these clones as expendable tools, and typically granted them virtually no free will and only a sliver of his skills and knowledge. When Styx broke into Akenash, he planned to allow himself to be captured so that he could question the masters of the tower. Before this happened, Styx created a clone of himself with an unusually high degree of free will and a substantial share of his skills, so that this clone could complete some other goals within the tower on his behalf, then liberate the real Styx from prison. The clone thought that he was the real Styx, but the real Styx was subtly controlling his actions through telepathic suggestions.

But Styx miscalculated. He granted this clone too much power and free will. When the clone realized what he truly was, he rebelled against his creator. With the help of an elf, the clone severed his telepathic connection to the original Styx. He then pursued Styx to the heart of the World Tree. During the battle, the clone Styx fell into a pool of amber, and out of the amber poured hundreds of clones, who then tore the original Styx to pieces. This incident had the side-effect of destroying the magic that kept Akenash afloat in the sky, and the tower crashed on the surface.

The clones all emerged from the ruins and spread out across the land. This was the birth of the goblin race. The clone Styx was among them. He had lost most of his memories in this ordeal, but he retained his intellect and powers, as well as the knowledge that "Styx" was somehow his name.

tldr You are a Clone being controlled by the Goblin known as Styx, you think you are Styx, but you're not. You end up killing your master and basically becoming Styx

Played it for 30 hours straight then had a break,
I've come back and my enjoyment has been nerfed.

Throw damage has been incredibly reduced to the point it does nothing,
I had my fun from primarily focusing on Throwing and never firing a bullet,

For me Stick Fight is too easy with guns,
It's gone back to the "a quick game in between another game"
Which doesn't interest me anymore.

It's recommended but I'm not likely to continue playing.

Amazing game,
Haven't skipped a main Assassin's Creed game from Altair.
Now, on to Origins!

Recommend.
Great stealth sidescroller. Enjoyed it a lot :)

Half of my playtime is trying to figure out how to Pickpocket which isn't explained in game,
and it's a broken mechanic for Mark of the Ninja, so good luck trying to get it working in less time than I did.
It's a miniscule complaint, but it's a serious gameplay flaw and an issue that was never fixed.

I am aware of the correct steps to take but it's trial and error when it comes to this one particular skill that you only need to perform a few times.

Scrolling through the discussions will give you enough reason to avoid the game.

I'm a Star Wars fan to the bone.
This game runs and plays like complete crap and there's not much you can do to fix it.

The main issue I had was the dodgy camera/movement controls.

It's good, enjoyable, but not as good as The New Order.

The Old Blood ran like complete ♥♥♥♥ right from the main menu, at the halfway point I just rushed the game to get it over with so it wasn't forever sitting in my incomplete game list.

Worth a playthrough if you're a Wolfenstein fan, but very fukn buggy game and weird graphic processing.

Yooka-Laylee is a very fun and enjoyable game if you're a Banjo Kazooie fan.
It's a brilliant adapation for the Banjo series.

Not really sure what all the haters are crying about, it's a Banjo game 20 years later.
If you want an exact replica then play those and stop being a wingeing cont.

There is not a single person playing the game, at least in the Oceania region.
I've been in queue for 1 hour afking a host lobby

But I don't leave negative reviews based on playercount
--

After finally joining a game, It took me 25 deaths to finally figure out how to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ move properly, and another 50 to figure out the basics, it didn't help that I was being completely obliterated by a guy who says he has 200 hours in the game.
It seems he was farming XP or some ♥♥♥♥ on my behalf.
Not an enjoyable first experience.

It's at this point I'm not surprised the games dead, but I am surprised why it's so Overwhelmingly Positive.

I decided to check out this cancerous Challenge room, "Challenges are optional in every game".
Not in Duck Hunt, if you don't get Gold in the challenge, you won't have enough tickets to buy Gameplay altering mechanics that will affect your win rate, and hats.

So there's that, you'll forever be behind if you're matched with someone who has these 'legal mods'.
