The game is phenomenal, really loved the Turn based system with Parry/Dodge when enemy is attacking!
I never got really frustrated even in being on some bosses for like 2 (or 3 days max) days as the die&retry is really fast and you just have to learn hearing the sounds (in most cases) that will give you the clues to when to parry or learn the pattern/rythm of the attacks to parry them.

The Story is really good and keeps you always with open mouth at the end of each damn act... crazy good.
As others already mentioned you will have the game challenging until you get the Picto to remove the 9k damage cap, at that point you will be in the final Act 3 with the open world freely eplorable before finishing it and you can find out broken builds that one shots everything even the strongest boss (which is not the final story one) so if you want to enjoy fully the suspense and struggle of the characters just build normally your team and go to defeat the final boss so see the ending and afterwards you can still explore the world and platinum the game without starting the NG+ and do whatever you want with the one shot builds!

A game to be tried by anyone, if you're not too much a fan of parry/dodge system there's the easy difficulty that makes wider windows for you to do that or I think there's also an option for something automatic so you can focus on your attack during your turns only.

PS. If you want to Platinum the game, be mindful of just two missables:
1 - Journal collection when you'll first explore Old Lumiere, you have to find a Key and use it on a cage to open it and collect a Journal. Once you finish your first exploration of Old Lumiere that will not be possible to retrieve it again even if you can go back to that place.
2 - When a moment comes (you will get it when... don't worry, no spoiler but just in case for who doesn't want tips) tell the Truth instead of lying if you care about Platinum on the first run
