I'm torn.

There are some good components, it is generally speaking "fun to play"

Pros:
The whole parry thing is "hip" right now, and this game implements it well.
It generally feels good to run around and blow demons up with the various guns.
Its got some interesting new guns, they are all fun to use in their own right.
It runs very well, butter smooth gameplay.

Cons:
The whole parry thing is a little over done, and it ruins the dragon with a gun on its back gameplay.
Its fairly easy.
Its short.
The mech battles are boring as hell, and as to steal some bloggers description, its feels like playing rockemsockemrobots.
The story tries to be serious but somehow comes off like a badly written Saturday cartoon instead.
The story jumps around and skips some things that might have made it interesting
The game is really short.
The secrets aren't secret, they are on the map, with big glowing icons. I guess this is fun for complentionists?
The game focuses on forced arena's and creates small bottled fighting areas as its core way of gameplay.
Its a very short game.
Riding a dragon with a gun on its back should be fun, somehow this game made me regret the experience.
The final boss fight is anti climatic as hell.
The final boss fight goes for a random gut punch in that "Saturday morning cartoon" kinda way.

Overall, this game is hard for me to rate. In some ways, its very good. In others its pretty bad, and some of those bad moments seem to outweigh the good ones. I think if I had paid for this game I'd be more than disappointed, I'd be angry.

This game is so short it seems like a demo to show off the current Unreal Engine with a game I might consider paying $69.99 for after completing it. If they add a lot of additional content maybe the game will be more than that.

I feel like there is a theme in my reviews of Bethesda games. I do not like the publisher they've turned into.
