Never got into CRPGs back in the day when they were most popular. That said, I do find an appeal to them as I used to love JRPGs and other RPG hybrids. I'd heard lots of praise for the pillars series and I must say this installment didn't disappoint. Art pretty, story good, character arcs fulfilling. Overall, pretty good.

Amazing game and not quite like anything I've played before. Plays similar to what a real time civilization game would. I'm a big Dune fan having played Dune 2000, Emperor: Battle for Dune, and I've read the books. I feel this game does the franchise justice. Skirmish games last roughy 2-4 hours depending on how much you're messing around. Overall, I find the gameplay loop pretty addicting.

Amazing game... finally. Other developers can take note (Bethesda in particular) on how to make a living breathing world, have RPG elements, and have a really good story. I'm having my cake and eating it too and so can you. Best open world experience I've had since Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

Remedy does some amazing narrative driven games. This one is no exception to that rule.

My favorite turn-based strategy game I've played so far.

2 in the dink, 1 in the stink

I was stupid mad when this game first released. I personally didn't want to buy it, but a LAN party was coming up for it's release and I was convinced by my friends to get. I did and we actually had a decent amount of fun that night. Bad thing is that I soon got tired of the shallow map pool, the bugs, and I didn't care for the specialists (wish we had stuck with the strict class system). A disappointment I experienced with BF V when that released and being a fan since Battlefield 1942 I was bummed that this followed suite for the franchise.

Coming back this December and I'm actually having fun with it. It's not really a bad game. Not my favorite BF ever, but I'm entertained for the mindless fun it is. Most issues have been ironed out from what I can tell and I'm more forgiving of the specialist class system (even if it's not my favorite). What can I say beyond that, beyond that I'm having fun with it.

I bought this game like three days ago.

Sweet little platformer with a satisfying ending. I was charmed the whole way through.

A masterpiece of the open world and a wonderful balance of realism and gaming. A game that will allow you to role play from a peasant nothing to someone the Kingdom acknowledges and you've felt you've earned it. My favorite open world RPG since Morrowind, tbh.
