$30 is too much for what is basically an unfinished product.

terrible gunplay

Poorly optimized, riddled with bugs that will softlock you, etc.

fun with huge skill ceiling. keep in mind some maps are terrible though and you might have to spend an hour or two finishing your first map.

Actually played the game all the way through to the end. Doesn't happen often for me. It's a very good game, the heir and progression system were way ahead of its time. It reminds me a lot of Mount & Blade, and it does things a lot better too, for example, people [including yourself] will actually die in this game, yet the game moves forward. And the AI will constantly be trying to pull hijinx on you (assassination, kidnapping, etc), and you can do the same to them. NPC/competitor interaction is very immersive.

There are some things that bother me with the game though. When you pick a region to start on, there's absolutely nothing in the other 47 provinces, despite it giving you the option to travel across the entire region. Seems like wasted potential. Sometimes you can find a town you can attack, but the game refuses to let you capture it. The icons on the map also don't do anything. I feel like there's a big portion of the game that went unfinished unfortunately. Good game though.

Pretty fun. Gives a relatively good challenge on hard difficulty. Playing through the achievements and finding the double secret achievement is worthwhile. Interesting developer commentary as well. To those who are having a difficulty in the game, you need to be a bit clever with how you go about engagements. Possibly the easiest way is to initiate an encounter with an explosion, which will scare the enemy AI, making it easier to target them without taking too much damage, if any at all.

it's ok. The mechanics of the game never surface to something very clever, but it did the job. The game ends just about when these mechanics start to get repetitive.

Game has a lot of memorable moments if you just act like a douchebag the entire time. The controls are great outside of combat. I bound movement to WASD, jump to space, action to J, and strafe to Q/E. Never touched my mouse. F (first person view) is a great key to use while running or climbing ladders.

Feels like it came straight out of the NES era. They even capitalized on various limitations (enemies despawning/spawning at the start and end of a screen scroll is the biggest one that comes to mind)

Beautiful controls, gameplay, music, etc. Its execution is flawless, the only criticism I have is that the overwhelming amount of magic seems to serve little purpose as most people would I assume only use only one or two spells or so.

The only 'arcade FPS' I know of on steam. You will easily sink well worth your money into the game and still have fun playing it. From the outside it might not seem $5, but try to get to some score such as 200 seconds and you'll see what I'm talking about (hopefully).

Lol at people who say this game needs a crosshair.
