FromSoft has almost, if not, perfected their own genre, and it shows in Elden Ring.
The open world is very well made and encourages exploration in a way that doesn't make it tedious.
Such a great variety of weapons and spells to fit almost every play style (with more coming in the DLC).
The game world itself is also fantastic. Bosses feel unique and the music is absolutely incredible.
If there is one Souls game anyone should try, especially as a first, it is Elden Ring. There's a reason FromSoft has won multiple Game Of The Year Awards with their games and especially deserved with this one.
I'll say the game is easier (to me at least) than DS3 (and however far I've come in DS1-2) but this may also be because they've refined the game mechanics.
Also incredible to see the last main boss's music reference the main theme of Demon's Souls, kind of like DS3's last boss referenced DS1's.

Sea of Thieves is such a horrible game.
Yes, it looks nice and is fun at times. BUT
The amount of toxicity in this game is far greater than in any game. People are hostile and its just like being bullied in elementary school. Its not fun and it only happens cause most people thinks its cool or generally are degenerates themselves.

Just now when posting this review I was doing my tall tale (story type quests) where I had to go to an island. However there was a ship there (for 2-3 players). They left so I thought I could finally do my quest. I get on the island and run around to find the item I need. WHILE IM DOING THIS ONE OF THEM BOARDS MY SHIP AND WAITS FOR MY RETURN. When I get back to my ship I put the piece by the map and find where to go next. Then while adjusting my course, I get shot in the back of the head by some guy hiding below deck. He then throws the piece in the water to be a sack of ♥♥♥♥. From here I guess I cant do my quest anymore since the piece is lost at sea and I dont know where I dropped it. I proceed to follow the ship I saw. When confronted one of the guys who didnt instantly kill me said "I helped you do your tale? You see?"
He didnt gain anything from killing me in my quest. However, the fact that I lose something is what motivates these people.
Rare should really add some PvE or restriction to PvP.
Why would I do any quests if I only get tailed instantly and lose everything Ive spent hours to gather only for some immature kindergardeners at the age of 20? (Not to mention all the actual kids who just got home from kindergarden)

Man, we really didn't know how good we had it with CS:GO.
I have a collective 4.000~ hours in this game across accounts (a lot of it idle.. but still).
And man I miss CS:GO.
