after 5 years on my wishlist humble bundle dropped this on me, it's everything I missed in the total war campaign maps and then some, (blocking narrow sea transits with a fleet, much more detailed map and regions, sandbox with some actual historical context, play any nation without worthless dlc, more elaborate economy, diplomacy that makes sense etc)

This is what empire total war should have been in a simpler form instead of whatever that was

The only drawback to all these mechanics are the steep learning curve with inadequate tutorials so you need to be really motivated to start out or rely on friends and youtube to not die early on.

The dlc price in total is a bit much to an insane degree a la paradox not sure how much they add since I never played without a good chunk. EDIT, the answer is a lot, they add most of the game
