Elysium is a *little* trickier but that's merely because things now actually do damage as opposed to tickle you.
Hobbes, I can attest that nothing of note changes, I've "completed" the game as far as you can, in hell mode, no less, and the game doesn't budge much asides some fluff stuff and some stupendously inaccessible weapon modifications (of 3 available for each weapon only 3 in total are somewhat interesting and tactics changing).
Note that I haven't unlocked any Mementos? yet, but if my guess is right, it would take ages of grinding to unlock one, sooo, no thanks.
And I stand by what I said. Zone 2 boss was horribad.
Meg was far more dynamic and interesting.
No. This game absolutely doesn't do things unique to this genre. If you want unique, you look at games like Dungeon of the Endless, that at least shook up the formula.
It does what it does -well-, don't get me wrong. But this is no Pyre or Transistor.
This is not pushing the envelope. Not even a smidge.
