Was your favorite part of Fallout talking to people?

Then this is Fallout lite, without Wastelanders I can't imagine how bare the game was on this front.

Was your favorite part the exploration, the holotapes, the notes, the terminal journals?

Then this is actually fairly satisfying!

Did you build a bunch in Fallout 4, and wish you could share it with others?

Then this is absolutely the game for you, yes, it's not perfect, and there is microtransactions, though you can purchase several decoration packs just from your free Atoms.

The creativity people display and the varied places they build make it fun not only to build but to visit other camps.

Now, are you a junk hound?

This is mixed, you can pick everything up for scrap but your stash has a weight limit and you can't display any of it. Still, there is a lot of loot and there are a couple ways to store your junk.

You could buy Fallout 1st for an unlimited scrap cache, this is a lame option, but it works. It also comes with a private world for all your trawling desires, and lets you transfer things to a mule character safely by using the private server to drop things then pick them up with other toon.

Or you can get help from a friend, if they just hold your place on the server so to speak you can switch to a mule and pick up things normally.

SO, besides all that, is the game good?

Yes, it's not perfect, obviously, but if you liked Fallout 4 and have always wanted to play it multiplayer, you can't go wrong with this. I've spent 90 hours in just 2 weeks and I expect to spend many more.

Wow, this was fun. First run took me to the second boss.

It has it's reputation as Anime Slay the Spire and I would still agree with that to an extent.

If you like deckbuilding roguelikes, this is definitely worth trying!

So Pixark is a buggy mess. As an ark player, I'm used to bugs, but PixARK is horrible.

I crashed at the server browser before I even clicked anything, I crash at the loading screen, I crash in game.

GF cannot connect to a server that has me in it past the character creation screen, if she even gets that far.

The only game she has been able to leave the character screen on with me in the server is a random unofficial, where I loaded in fine, she took forever, and when she loaded in..
she's floating in the skybox, she can only see beacons and the obelisks
There is no way to stop the tutorial or disable it, and you can't actually get through the tutorial with a controller.

Pressing Revive in the escape menu sent her back to the loading screen, that took 10 minutes with no end in sight so we left it.

We tried to download Skyward expansion to explore it in god mode on my PC, but it wouldn't download, let alone adding itself to my account, either on steam website or here, every time I tried to load the level it brought it up in the overlay to purchase it but it never went through.

For what it's worth, the game looks like it could be fun, but we never got to that part because of the bugs.

At the moment, this is a bad investment, it costs more than Minecraft does on any platform, and isn't supported in any passable degree. I can't believe that Dark and Light is more playable than this,

Short and sweet.

It took me 6 hours to beat the base game (without expansion pass).

But don't take that as "There's only 6 hours of content"

This is a game with ridiculous replayability, whether through different stories, routes, or devices. There's a LOT of ways to kill your target in this game. I just did a lot of "Shoot 'em from a distance with a silent pistol"

I think, in some ways, I liked the first part more, but this one is more of the goodness, if you like Hitman, you can't go wrong with Hitman 2

What do you need to know? It's a roguelite cooperative third person shooter. You can get pretty crazy builds, the game is intense as it never lets up and only gets harder.

Enjoy it :)

Easily recommended. If you go onto Youtube for reviews of this game, it's easy to tell if you're gonna like it or not.

So you want to know if it holds up?

Yes

I expect many more hours of playing this game.

So are you tickled pink by terrain destruction? Do you like being a grumpy alcoholic?

Do you have buddies afflicted with the same disease?

Pick this game up. It's everything that makes games like Left for Dead and Vermintide "Feel good" without it losing it's own unique style and gameplay.

Edit after 92 hours, I have finished promoting every character and while at first I thought things may have been weighted in favor of the Scout dwarf I can now honestly say that every class is solid and teamwork is best when you have one of each.

I implore you to give this game a shot if you like assisting your team because no matter what, you will be essential.

Would I recommend it?

Yes, it's the best game at what it strives to achieve, an open world survival zombie game with horde mechanics and a heat system that draws enemies to you if your base builds up enough of it. (Through forges and the like)

The devs like to change things up a lot and I'm not honestly sure if we'll see it finished anytime soon.

That said, the current patch is a lot of fun and I encourage anyone to look past the ugliness and enjoy the game.

If you're a big fan of Tower Defense you've probably heard of this series, and if you haven't, well then please take a look at the trailer and know that it's a solid experience, if a little weird at first.

In this game the first level mimics a traditional TD the most, the creeper flows in channels that threaten your base, and you have to beat it back to kill it's source.

And then each level builds, very quickly you realize that channels overflow in this game and your whole base is at risk unless you can stop the unending flow.

It's important to remember/know you can pause the game with P or the button on the ui, because the creeper flows quickly and sometimes you need a moment to think.

In many ways so far I think this game is a bit like a TD puzzle, which isn't entirely novel but nothing is quite like this game.

I'm only a couple hours in and I'm sure it'll surprise me, but I will say that I sat down to try this game today, I bought it months ago on sale because I knew it was popular, but until I tried it.. I didn't realize how hooked in I would get.

So give it a shot :)

I don't know what brought you here, but if you're looking at this game, it might be for you.

Have you ever played an RTS, maybe some old Starcraft or Warcraft and wished that there was a game where you could keep building up not only your base but your army?

Did you often spend an hour just building an overwhelming force before you destroyed the computer players and when you were done, wished there was more to kill with your army?

Well in Kenshi you can, it's just one way to play the game, of many, but for the Base/Empire builder in you, you will find an amazing game.

I've spent about 150 hours with my army so far, we started with just 5 men and women and one robot, now we have about 70 men, 25 work my base farming food and crafting gear while the rest either defend the base or assault cities or delve ruins.

This game is a multitaskers dream, you can plunder ancient ruins while sieging a town, defending your own from a raid, and managing a trade caravan, all simultaneously through different squads that play in real time whether you're watching them or not.

I keep thinking about new ways to play, but I just keep developing my army, it's addicting.

The mod scene for this game is wonderful, with added races, animations, gear, and factions.

If you've read this far, my only tip is don't read any discussions, don't watch SethTzeentach's video (Unless you're not convinced to buy it, then maybe check it out) because there's a lot of this game that is best discovered on your own, if you hang around a bar you might hear of various evils, and finally finding them will be much more satisfying than reading about someone else's experience with them on reddit.

Good luck
