Do not buy this game if you own a modern monitor. The resolution/refresh rates are wrong, and it will either not open, or open with "out of range," which may force you to force-reboot. I went looking for guides on how to fix this, and there is no modern answer. You either own a dinosaur crt tube monitor, or don't play it.

Pros: Haven't played it.
Cons: Doesn't work on modern systems.

You will have to manually tune your monitor to the games resolution.Modern Monitors auto-tune the resolution to fit the game but if you have a cheap or older monitor you can get the out of range message on older games.Just access the menu on your monitor to manually change the settings.

Well, I play on a 1920x1080 monitor and I didn't have any problems. Tabbing out occasionally caused a crash but that's pretty typical in older games before Fullscreen Borderless was a standard. Not saying your problem is legit, but your review is exclusive to you and maybe a few others, for the most part people with modern monitors have no issue.

Sounds more like a setting on your monitor itself than a setting in game or on your PC

My 1920x1080 resolution is too much for it. It says, "out of range," when I try to play it. Can't even get to a menu to set up video for it.

Maybe check Borderless Gaming to play in windowed mode stretched to fullscreen.

Might be an isolated incident between certain resolution users. The only true viable option I've found is, running it in a window, but I wanted full screen. Any time I try? "Out of range." It's a very common complaint that I find, when looking for people with similar issues. Congrats to you though, for having it work for you.
