Marvels: Spiderman 2 serves as a follow-up of Marvels: Spiderman Remastered and Miles Morales. The task of meeting the expectations of this long-awaited series is massive. Insomniac Studios has created another exciting, thrilling and fun rollercoaster ride for its fans and players. The combat system has been expanded with the introduction of new abilities and gadgets, with individual ones for Peter and Miles as well allowing them to have their own specific combat styles. Additionally new features like web gliding, spider dashing and jumps whilst in mid-air and slingshot launches to name a few examples have been added to this fascinating game. They really manage to give the gameplay a fresh feeling.
When it comes to the negative side, it has to be pointed out that most open-world activites are slowly getting stale. Despite additions such as the unidentified hunter drones and the Mysterio challenges which are super fun, there’s not really anything much more to do compared to its predecessor.

The combat system feels so comfortable to slip back into, as if the player never stopped playing. It was so easy to get back into that rhythm and rememorize all tricks and moves the antagonists got in store. The precision dodges, parries, acrobatic, high-flying finishers, swing kicks, web yanking never ceased to amaze me. The movement is still smooth, fluid and swift as hell. Either Peter and Miles possess unique and different abilities, equipped to a shortmenu with four gadgets assigned to one of the four buttons. However you can not use them continuously, instead have to wait for the cooldown time to be up preventing the player from overusing them and risking the gameplay to become stale by just making use of four certain gadgets. It automatically forces you to use a different variety of moves instead. New available tools include the Upshot (an automated drone fighting the enemies) and the Web Grabber yanking every selected enemy together, which massively helps you, in case a lot of enemies are faced in an encounter, adds a brilliant element of chaos to this game.
Whilst there’s already a lot of focus on the acrobatics on this game, Insomniac have to be praised for not forgetting and pushing aside the stealth combat system, which has witnessed new additions with the web lines the protagonists are able to create as well as allowing multi-takedowns to be possible making Miles‘ invisibility ability very, very effective.
An area a lot of improvements have been made in is the significantly higher number of enemy variety. Over are the times of fighting the same group of masked criminal individuals wielding baseball bats. Say hello to the new flamethrower-using cultists, flying drones, symbiotes and hunters deploying laser grids above your head. Certain enemies are to weak to different types of abilities preventing the player from just spamming random moves in order to neutralize the opponents in any way possible.
The players‘ repertoire have been added to new spins and flips, aside from the outstanding web wings, which allow the player to glide and soar through the city and feel like a bird, at least for a short while, as there’s no unlimited time available, so you’re forced to be able to manage your altitiude and keep the momentum. However with the help of the newly introduced windy corridors giving you a massive speed boost whenever you fly through the first ring, there’s a good chance you can travel from one side of the city to another , in case you found your perfect route.

Onto the story: Both Peter’s and Miles‘ stories get deeply explored giving you a deep insight into their life. Miles gets to explore more about his culture & background, although they’re mostly reserved for side missions, and about him and Hailey slowly getting closer to one another the more you progress through the game. When it comes to Peter, his story with Mary Jane advances and faces huge challenges, just like with his good old friend Harry Osborne, who slowly transforms from more of a side character at the beginning into one of the main characters and villians in the form of Venom, which takes over Harry as soon as he’s in a state of mourning due to his deteriorating relationsship with Peter throughout the course of this game, so it basically is the embodiment of a personal demon eating one up from the inside. This story just does a stellar job at expressing and exploring these kind of issues.

The side-content however became quite boring and repetitive. Don’t get me wrong, there‘s are lots of it, but they haven’t undergone any changes or any form of evolution. Collectibles, photo oppourtunities are still there, but they’re not really differentiable from the first part and barely excite anymore too. The length in fighting criminals has been increased by a bit, but only thanks to some additional enemy variety. The only positive about the side content is that the chasing of Talon Drones while having to remain in the slipstream and fighting Mysterio’s soldiers in a parallel universe has brought at least a bit of variety, so Insomniac has not entirely forgotten about that part.

Although it does not reach the heights of its predecessor it's still a decent game nonetheless. The story of two Spidermen is thrilling as hell and allows both older and younger players to invest into their characters with the 25 yo Peter who has already navigated the difficult years of becoming an adult and the 17 yo Miles, who's just in the middle of this time. Insomniac has definitely managed to deliver a worthy sequel of this amazing series giving us Spiderman fans lots of hours to invest into our beloved characters and making us feel like one of them.

Spiderman: Miles Morales is a very fun expansion of Spiderman 1 serving as a spin-off title of Marvels: Spiderman Remastered. The combat and traversal system is simply brilliant just like in the aforementioned game. Miles‘ movement is extremely fluid and fast-paced making the player addicted to engage in the swinging sequences. It’s just that good.

SMMM featured some new additions with introduction of a mobile phone allowing you to track nearby objectives without having to select the map via the menu, which makes the gameplay more unseamed and uninterrupted keeping up the flow.
This game taking place during the winter in NYC, instead of the summer adds a new experience to the series paired with some excellent soundtracks, in particular at the very beginning of game, during which Miles encountered Hailey for the very first time.

The introduction of characters such as the Tinkerer, the Prowler and Roxxon bring some fresh blood and prevent you from getting bored of the same characters you come across in SM1 already with Rhino and Kingpin serving as just some examples. The Tinkerer in particular was the character I personally invested the most in by a mile. I just love how she turned from Miles' good friend, into a villianous character you lock horns with various times during the course of the game, whilst attempting to maintain the relationship with her, even after she found out that Miles is the Spiderman trying to destroy the Underground's plans lead by her.

One the negative side, it is to be said that this game is VERY short. To short for a seperate game in my honest opinion. If you just wanna beat it without completing all the side quests you need around 7-8 hours, so it basically feels like a DLC of its predecessor, so it’s only worth purchasing during a sale, because the full price is just not worth it for such a length.

Furthermore, the side characters are just to stale and boring. There’s not much interesting to tell about them, except that they’re all nice and friendly and all that, but they just lack that level of depth required in order for the player to really invest in them. The previous game had characters such as Mary Jane and Yuriko Watanabe.

In conclusion, this series really upped its game with the release of this very game. It’s such an enjoyable experience, but I’d only recommend it to be bought during a sale, due to the insufficient length and lack of DLC’s, but for fans of this series and agile, fluid, parkour-style movements it’s definitely worth an acquisition.

Let me cut to the chase: This game did not deliver. It's simply about killing zombies that's it. The story elements are more like a minor matter than something this whole game is about. Yes, the graphics is beautiful and the details when it comes to violence are astonishing. I've rarely seen such violence in any game before. That's one of the best things about this entire game, but that's already it.

The side quests and especially the Lost & found are a massive grind and they're not always trackable and the respective symbols sometimes don't appear on the map either. It can be infuriating as hell. Initally it makes you feel like the game is bugged and you don't know how to progress.
In some L&F side missions you need to fast travel back and forth between several locations, which is often not very clear.

On top of that there are to many things you can do at the same time. When you pick up a journal or letter e.g. starting a side quest in the process and quickly decide to do another side quest popping up you can forget which steps you've already done in the quest you've done before. For instance I picked up the journal of the "My mailman was a zombie" early on in the game and when I eventually revisited the site I found it at late on in the game I had no idea why it was nowhere to be found. I had to resort to watching a yt vid from that mission and advance step by step to find out which packages I was yet to investigate. The game doesn't give you any hints.

In addition, there are way to many weapons. You spend more time thinking about which weapon to drop or put in the storage locker than you can use every available weapon. It's just not possible, unless you keep playing after finishing every quest.

Furthermore, the background music is horribly bad and makes you more depressed the longer you listen to it. I could easily select better soundtracks within a span of five minutes.

Overall this game is just not recommendable by any means. Sorry Dambuster Studios. You've fumbled hard.

Such a brilliant remake. Top notch. The graphics just look so damn astonishing, the ambience is phenomenal and the physics engine and gameplay are so well-designed as well.. It enhances the original in almost every way possible.

This game really manages to immerse the player, as you feel like you’re a part of the game and the moment. What helps in this regard as well is the fact that there’s no HUD in the entire game. Every detail needed to know is shown through in-game holographics, just like the map, inventory and so on. This forces the player to always be aware of his surroundings, as he can still get attacked after opening the holographics, as the necromorphs always find a way to appear out of nowhere no matter where you are and how safe you feel. This forces you to always stay focused and makes you even more immersed into the gameplay, which is a huge plus.

The variety of weapons from the Plasma Cutter you receive early on in the game from the Pulse Rifle to the Flamethrower to the Line Gun combined with the ability of tossing objects at enemies with the help of Kinesis as well as with the possiblity to slow them down with Statis allows you to kill the enemies in different ways and it's surely fun as hell. Even when they’re dead you can still use the Kinesis to dismember them and throw their body parts around. It’s not like they’re untouchable and disappear after a couple of seconds. I haven’t seen this in any game before. That’s just so innovative.

The USG Ishimura is just so well designed with an extremely high level of attention to detail and there’s a lot to explore with many items laying around and many rooms you can access later on after reaching a certain level of security clearance. This gives you a reason to explore the entire spaceship rather than just blindly following the objectives without paying attention to the rest. The found items can be sold at several stores found throughout the station. You can choose between purchasing a higher level of your extraordinarily beautifully-designed suit or power nodes you can spend for upgrades for your weapons at benches you can find at certain places at the Ishimura. The Zero-G areas makes moving around harder as well with the player being forced to ascend and descend in those zones in addition to the hampered capability to walk around. The already strong environmental details are enhanced by very moody lighting, while some corners around can be totally dark forcing you to be aware of enemies possibily lurking around.

It can certainly be said that for fans of the science fiction, action-adventure and horror genre it’s a must to give this game a shot. This remake is just that good. I really hope we will get one of DS2 and DS3 as well.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is honestly, no recency bias, one of, is not the best, game of all time. I'm not exaggerating, this game just exceeded my expectations more than any other one. I didn't know what to expect at first, instead I just gave it a shot and now I wish I had played it way sooner.

This game's story is so exciting, the gameplay is very action-oriented and narrative-driven and includes great dialogues, huddles, which allow the team to regroup and reset all characters' ability cooldown time while being motivated by Peter, and character interactions coupled with stellar voice acting, aside from perfectly balanced humor and drama, as well as the ability to choose many different dialogue options when bantering with your colleagues, negotiating with enemies and talking your way out of, or into, trouble and who to side with in certain situations. In short, it's a product of
a simply superb combination of every aspect needed for an unforgettable gaming experience.

The story is about the 13 yo Peter Quill who got abducted by Chitauri warriors, who killed his mother in the process as well, from his home on his birthday. Later in the story, he formed mercenary group "Guardians of the Galaxy", which includes, assassin Gamora, the tree looking Groot, weapons specialist Rocker Racoon and the Katathian warrior Drax. They headed into the prohibited, from Nova Corps established, "Quarantine zone" hoping to steal a mysterious monster for their patron, Lady Hellbender.

However, after Peter picked up a yellow gem, which he dropped after a few seconds, an unknown entity was released. After attempting to escape the QZ, a Nova Crops ship managed to capture and arrest them. It was led by Peter's ex-lover Ko-Rel, who was later killed by that very entity, where he also came across her daughter, Nikki. They were fined a huge amount of Galactic Units as a punishment. Searching for ways to accumulate the needed money, they tried scamming Lady Hellbender at first, but after this went wrong they sought help of security chief Cosmo, from the space sation "Knowhere", for help leading Star-Lord's group to investigate "Hala's hope" (a mysterious signal being transmitted) in exchange for Cosmo speaking to the NC about removing their fine. After getting captured on Hala's Hope by Raker, the leader of the Universal Church of Truth, they were taken to meet the "Matriach" of his Church. There, they found out that Nikki is the "Matriach", after she found the yellow gem Peter has dropped early on in the game. This lead to Nikki being able to brainwash thousands of followers from an illusion called "The Promise". After the GOTG became a target as well, they started to try to free her in order to become a normal human again. After unsuccessfully seeking help from the "Xandarian Worldmind" they had no other choice, but to flee the galaxy. After Drax fell victim to "The Promise", they asked Mantis, a powerful psychic, for help allowing them to enter Drax' mind and free him from the Promise. After the revelation of the churches' "Golden God" "Warlock" that the entity possessing Nikki is his dark side "Magus" and that his plan is to consume the entire galaxy, the GOTG no other option, but to turn to Lady Hellbender again. After winning her over, they entered the church's flagship "Sacrosanct". After being trapped in an energy field, Peter managed to enter Nikki's mind and made her accept that Ko-Rel is really dead, which she refused to believe, although she witnessed her death by the entity first hand. After the release of her mind, she was free of Magus' control and thus unlocked some hidden powers. The threat of the church was ended by the defeat of Raker and Magus absorbing Magus back into his body.
Magus unfortunately managed to take control of Warlock's body shortly afterwards. By wielding the soul stone, Magus was imprisoned again. Warlock eventually thanked them for their help, took custody of the soul stone and offered them further assistance in the future before departing "The Milano".

Fighting in this game is so much fun and diversified. Each character possesses various abilities and one Mega-Ability (after you've unlocked their previous ones) allowing you to freely decide when and which ability the respective character makes use of. Each character has its own kind of style and weapons.

Groot (the tree) uses his roots to grapple individual or multiple enemies in place or causing them to shoot up from the ground, dealing moderate damage to enemies in the process. His Mega-Ability is to revive downed guardians, which includes the protagonist, as well as the abilities' cooldown reset. It will automatically be used by Groot, in case Star-Lord is incapacitated.

Rocket's abilities include blasting all enemies in a radius dealing moderate damage in the process, tossing grenades at enemies, as well as throwing grenades, which release several darts during the impact, at the targeted foes. His Mega-Ability allows him to pull out a huge Five Barrel Barrage used to bombard the respective opponents with various projectiles such as missiles, bullets and grenades.

Drax' abilites causes the adversaries to get hit with a powerful attack, getting charaged at and damaged in true Katathian style or getting hurt by the ground being shattered. His Mega-Ability makes him start roaring and assaulting all nearby targets.

Gamora's abilities allow her to harm nearby antagonists with her "Godslayer" weapon. She can either deal heavy damage to a single enemy nearby, strike each one once by dealing moderate damage or strikes a single enemy leading to moderate damage, but therefore being able to follow up on the attack by releasing a wave of energy leading to moderate stagger to all opponents behind the inital target. Her Mega-Ability results in an individual target being neutralized by getting dealt to super-heavy damage with multiple strikes.

Star-Lord's abilities contain the possibility to rise to a tactically advantageous position by prolonging the burn of his jet boots, unleashing rapid fire blaster shots and lobbing several grenades at the ground below after ascending into the air.
His Mega-Ability enables him to draw an impenetrable shield providing him full protection from all sort of attacks for a short duration.

Character conversations don't simply just further the campaign, instead they simply go on, while you, as the protagonist, can just stand nearby listening to them, without advancing the story. These sort of conversations take place in either the Milano (their spacecraft) and during the missions. So, if you don't simply wish for a quick end of the story by rushing the game you can just keep standing next to the other Guardians, have drink and listen to their chats. One conversation between Rocket and one of the other male Guardians is even about Peter (the protagonist).

Regarding, the major dialogue choices and consequences, I can give everyone the all-clear that most of the dialogue choices are inconsequential and therefore don't affect the story and instead are used for backstory reasons and giving you the chance to trigger various responses only, so no one has to be afraid to somehow twist or mess the story up by selecting a certain answer. However, it has to be said that there still some options leading to a change in behaviour of other characters. The answer will therefore be mandatory and can't be timed out.

Honestly, if there's one game deserving a sequel it's this one. I'd even spend 100€ on it. To bad Eidos Montreal was bought by Embracers, who already discharged around 100 employees of EM as of now. That makes a sequel extremely unlikely. The release of the game shortly after Marvel's Avengers didn't help the already poor marketing of the game either. That's such a massive shame. There'd be lots of potential to turn this into a series, as one game is simply not enough.

Anyway, let's hope for an unlikely turn of events nonetheless.

Honestly, this is one of the best games I've ever played ngl. The story is exciting as hell, the graphics are extremely beautiful, the game runs very smoothly, the gameplay itself is an absolute joy, the game never crashed a single time and there's plently of stuff to do aside from the story missions. Is there anything more to ask for? I don't think so.

The swinging from roof to roof, running along building's walls, acquiring various combat techniques made for plently of great action. It actually makes you feel like you are the Spiderman. At the very beginning, learning those skills was quite a challenge, but not for to long fortunately and afterwards it became nearly effortless to jump and swing around the city.

The combat system is great as well. You never have to be afraid to engage in a fight. Due to the mix of different gadgets and attacks you always feel like it's possible to get the upper hand, even while being outnumbered. Websticking enemies to a wall or a car e.g. is hilarious af.

This game also offers tons of different suits for spiderman, each with its own power and beauty. As soon as you get tired of a particular suit, you can simply just select a new one and before you've done that with each suit, you've already finished this game.

Besides the main story there are also lots of side missions to complete like finding lost backpacks, taking pictures of various landmarks, capturing lots of enemy hideouts, warehouses, outposts as well as prisoners camps, taking down lots of criminals all over the city by preventing their crimes, completing Taskmaster's challenges and so on.

With that being said, I can recommend this game to everyone loving thrilling fun single player games. Not even for a single second I regretted that purchase.

This game is without a doubt the G.O.A.T. of all F1 games. I just love how Codemasters finally solved the issue regarding the massive understeer and little to zero traction, which MASSIVELY bothered me in F1 2019. The transition of the driving experience from the latter to the former was huge, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

The introduction of the MyTeam mode was excellent as well. You can finally add an 11th team to the grid and choose whoever you want as your 2nd driver. Way better than the idea from F1 2019, where Lukas Weber and Devon Butler just replaced two current drivers and were massively overpowered, which was beyond ridiculous and annoying. I've spent 8 seasons in MyTeam and 2 entire ones in the normal MyCareer mode. That already says it all.
I can already see the F1 community in the future looking back at this game rating it as one of the best F1 games of all time.

Decent F1 game. I like the improvement of the graphics as well as the introduction of the Post-race interviews and new classic cars. The engine sound sounds a bit to aggressive. If you reach 12 rpm it actually sounds like 13 or 14 rpm, but it still sounds beautiful. The handlings feels a bit sloppy tho, but it's still alright.

This game along with Black Ops 2 has the best campaign of any COD for me. It's electrifying to say the least.
The entire game in general doesn't deserve all the hate it receives. Even to this day I still don't get why. I only had plently of pleasant memories with it.
