The masterpiece allowed me to have one of my best experiences ever as a gamer. This game scared the hell outta me ngl. It lasted way longer than the first release and included more enemies as well. I've never been scared more by anything ever. Not even any creepypasta.

I also finished this game on Insane mode and had to learn when and where to hide from who and had to do so at every spot where enemies came up. The hardest part was by far the one with the cart, which I had to push all the way towards the fence allowing me to climb over it. All the time having Marta behind your back tryna catch you almost made my heart sinking to my booths. Even during the following weeks I could still remember each spot where and when to hide, cuz I simply had to practive it so well, so I wouldn't fail and also cuz it was so intense I couldn't simply forget about it right afterwards.

I can thoroughly recommend this game to everyone who loves horror games

This game is just such a massive step in the right direction. With the announcement of EA becoming the F1 game's publisher I actually expected this series to die and after F1 22 turned out to be a stinker it further confirmed my concern, but F1 23 proved me and probably a lot of other people wrong (fortunately). The cars have so much more traction now, unlike last year and also don't feel like they have that much understeer anymore. Furthermore you can make more detailed adjustments regarding the set up e.g. the suspension and the anti-rollbar can be set from 1- 50 now, so you can play around with it more. The graphics remind me more of F1 2021 instead of F1 22 tbh, which I don't prefer, but as long as the rest is great I'm fine with it. I don't usually post reviews, but F1 23 thoroughly deserves it.

F1 2019 became yet another success from Codemasters. I love the new classic cars, the F2 cars from 2018 and 2019. It's great addition by Codemasters to allow you to have an own multiplayer car with the possibility of changing the respective colors and buying new designs for it. The AI was improved again. They are more aggessive now, but simultaneously don't always keep the racing line at all costs. Now they back off way more often in situations where, in previous games, a contact or a crash would've occurred. I like how Codemasters regularly releases new patches and improves problems like the overpowered AI starts, the performance of the AI in the rain or the livery of the cars. Codemasters also improved the graphics, especially the lightings during night races and also adapted the HUD.

What bothers me the most is the sound of the 2019 cars. The revs sound very, very low and the Ferrari sound in particular is dreadful to say the least and you can't select an own sound of your online car. Each online car simply has a ferrari engine. Another annoying point are the driver transfers in MyCareer. They are extremely unrealistic. For example in mine, Magnussen and Gasly swapped, Verstappen and Hamilton swapped and Kvyat and Bottas swapped their seats and all of that took place during the middle of the season. It might be better having driver swaps only taking place between RB and Toro Rosso in the middle of the season, as it has already happened irl and the others during the winter break l, so it wouldn't be that far off from reality.

The 2nd season e.g. was completely dominated by Alfa Romeo and Toro Rosso. Lukas Weber has won the WDC in Japan I think. Things like that need to be fixed asap.

Furthermore, the cars are EXTREMELY understeery. Each time while taking Copse Corner e.g. I need to brake and shift down once. You can't even be close to taking it flatout, even in Merc, which is utterly ridiculous and laughable. The cars also massively lack traction. Each time you wanna get a decent exit, you need to short shift, otherwise you already unnecessarily lose plently time just by accelerating.

Anyway, this latest edition of Codemasters is still very recommendable, especially for F1 freaks as me.

SCS Software keeps this already great game interesting by regularly bringing in new DLC's. Wish that'd be the case for other games as well.

All I can say is that it's a great game and I recommend it to any motorsport fan!

The graphics are just epic for a 2012 game. The career mode is also very fun, even if unfortunately there is no way of creating your own helmet or avatar, for example. The damage model is beyond ridiculous as well, but the pit radio and the realistic-looking cars improve the atmosphere noticeably.
At first the controls were a bit unfamiliar, but after a short time I got used to it. Before F1 2016 it was simply the best F1 game out there.
