Hot diggity damn! This is ridiculously good! I love Dusk and Doom, but what makes this one stand out is the HEAVY immersion with how interactive the world is. Things like PLENTY of destructible objects, flushing a toilet, using a shower, ringing a phone, kissing a photograph, driving a motorbike, and hopping on playground equipment. It's immersive and has a humorous charm.

Colorful enemies and bosses, ironically with not much actual color, (It's like Quake after all) but AFAIK a horse with a gas mask or a gorilla with mounted heavy weapons is rather colorful.

If you complete an episode, you can also toggle "intruder mode" or whatever that's called, to heavily randomize the weapons, items and enemies placed in the levels which means a different experience every single time you play. That' was fun!

Also, I got a cooking recipe for beef stroganoff when I completed the first episode.

It's like Quake set in a Soviet country with the worldbuilding, immersion, destructible props, highly interactive environments of Duke Nukem 3D.

Not bad! If I could give a mixed review I would. Good game to where I won't give a negative review, but there's no rush to buy this either.

Tried this one during free weekend, basically similar survival realism of NMRIH1 but with gameplay elements that remind me of Dead Island (like the melee swinging and stamina system)

Graphics are great, though it looks and plays pretty crappy on my rig because I'm a GTX 1070 peasant rn since my main PC is in the repair shop. Also, gore system's great. not Dead Island 2 level, but more like Dead Island 1, Dying Light, L4D or so. It's Dead Island 2 compared to that half-arsed Back 4 Blood that's for sure.

It was kinda fun getting put into this large landscape with several players in a way thats sorta like a Co-op zombie survival battle royale.

I also noticed what I suspect are rogue-like elements where there's permadeath, you lose your specific character but generate new ones and you have a progression/leveling bar for your whole account, and one for that specific character. this is an important detail to know of whether you love or hate rogue-like elements.

Also, a major tip, as a noob myself to other fellow noobs that could save your life. If u need some extra defense hop on top of the cars... they are safer than the indoor buildings! xD

Good game, but with so many other awesome games in the market, like No More Room in Hell 1, Dead Island 2, RE2 remake, L4D2, World War Z, or even Dying Light, there is no rush to buy this game.

Get it on sale if you feel like it. Otherwise, get NMRIH1 instead as it's not only good but it's also free.

Way better deal than Assassin's Creed shadows. Just out of principle. Yeah, it's objectively a bit sloppy, you get what you pay for, but it's 4 bucks, decent over-the-top humor. I mean... you're a black samurai in the feudal era with a shotgun, UMP and M82 sniper rifle. You ride a bicycle, drive vehicles, deliver Tofu, destroy things, kill nuisance streamers (Not Johnny Somali, sadly, but another POS that's very similar). Also, annoying platforming, but that's okay.

and most importantly, you aren't paying 100 bucks to support Assassin's Creed Shadows you despise for whatever reason, be it insanely high price, low value, crappy business, or shoehorned, forced preachy virtue signaling, or several of, or all of the above.

HELL yeah! This masterpiece is full of fun arcade-y gameplay like the early 2000's that I always wanted. and that's just the beginning!

This game is so full of features I cannot even count... There's absolute customization, motorcycles, zones outside of the ring, such as a street or a subway, there is the option to have DISMEMBERMENT and you can use a CHAINSAW or hold a GUN. I'm not kidding!

There are what looks like pieces of meat that fall on the floor, representing the limbs you severed. you can pick 'em up and throw 'em. you can even use the taunt command and start munching on 'em! once again, I am NOT joking. this is actually in the freaking game! lmfao

(there is mod support too. but it already feels like anything is possible in the base game lol)

I recommend getting Wrestling Empire instead though because it's pretty much the same thing with even more features. I got this one first because I never played one of these before and I wanted to see what it was like back then as well.
