WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN?!

First, awesome game with awesome source ports available, and now the GIGACHADS at Nightdive Studios conjured up with this big remaster just like Quake 1!

+First off, the bells and whistles that you had from the Quake remaster.
+Turning off texture filtering looks astronomically better in HD or 4k. The sharpness just makes it all so timeless.
+Restored the soundtrack and then some!
+All expansions in one big bundle, including an extra campaign from Machine games, love it or hate it. And of course, the reforged Quake 2 64 campaign. complete with the Aubrey Hodges soundtrack.
+Revived multiplayer, immortalized with bots!
+Powered by the Kex Engine. It's a meme at this point. but in such an awesome way!
-Berserker overhaul is not optional, love it or hate it, kinda a big change which is pretty surprising that it's not an optional feature


Based Nightdive Studios being as chad as usual. Nuff said.

I got this in Early Access in 2019 after hearing about it. One of the fastest purchases I have ever made online.

I regret nothing.

I like it for what it is already. Plenty of patches and improvements over the years. And these developers are known to stand behind their games for a LONG time. Postal 2 just got a collaboration patch!

Yes, it does feel like it's early access, and even I consider it a bit odd that the reason its out of Early Access is because all the levels are playable.

Normally I'd hesitate to recommend this game at this current state at full price and recommend getting it on sale, but every time I have a shred of doubt after a while, RWS already releases another patch. I still recommend Postal 2 over 4, but This also has great potential and mod support alone (which is on it's way) will be HUGE. But if you don't have Postal 2. Get it pronto!

This long term investment is not for everyone, I understand the frustration. But if you like the game at least a little bit or, like me, looking forward to the all the post-launch support that RWS is known for, which has improved and will continue to improve this game progressively.

Heck, I like it for what it is already. Plenty of fun that can be had to begin with! and thats just the beginning!
Just because it's not Half-Life Over 9000, doesn't make it Redfall.

I couldn't fix the sound and performance. Tried turning Vsync off, verifying integrity, you name it! GTX 1070 here.

I scoured google for some sort of fix, with many having the same complaints but NO answers. I didn't wanna risk it, and got a refund. Sad.

I plan on getting the other collection, that ran way better. Also, the Capcom Arcade Cabinet has much of these Street Fighter games (and then some!) and performance-wise, that seems promising. Gonna give that a try instead.

+ Humor and balls to the wall action that would make Duke Nukem proud
+ Destructible environments with drastic landscape deformation like that of a 2d Red Faction
+ Terrorists, Aliens, and Demons. Oh my!
+ Every single action movie hero you can think of
+ Versus mode... Super Smash Broforce!
+ Unique abilities for each character... And there is a lot of them! Once again, Think of every single action movie hero you can. Then think of a basic attack, a finisher, and which melee attack to use for the entire roster.

9/10. Amazingly unique shooter.

A ludicrous masterpiece! I loved SMOD, and of course, Garry's Mod. (overcharged with as many addons as the average Skyrim enjoyer.)

Now this!

This has a balls to the wall combat overhaul, as many weapons as SMOD or Grezzo, Humor like something out of Crack-Life, a large supply of maps, and a good variety of character selection.

It's almost like SMOD, but like an arena shooter with multiplayer as well as bot support for the solo players out there. Kinda like Unreal Tournament.

Super Piro Odyssey: A Grezzodue in Time.

Or Conker Eternal.

The Chad Remake once again obliterates the typical EA/Ubisoft "HD Remaster". First Resident Evil 2, now this!

+ Awesome remake of an already great game
+ Graphics are crazy good. Good art style with a stylized approach.
+ Smooth framerate
+ Destructible environments are amazing! Red Faction: Guerrilla is one of the few modern rivals
+ Saint's Row level humor that gave me the major lulz
+ Diverse interactivity and variety in gameplay

I downloaded and installed it for free. I liked it alot so I decided to buy the Steam version as well.

Preheated: First impressions

+ Extra Crispy. Like a more atmospheric, slower paced version of Monoliths 1997 FPS masterpiece
+ Well done. Great graphics and art style combination. Runs well.
+ Fresh supply. RPG like weapon variations and upgrades, Resident Evil 4 style inventory
+ Pink on the inside. I have barely started, and only met the shaman at the start so far. I already like what I see
+ Made to order. Similar player choice like MGS5/Hitman/Deus Ex. Be stealthy, or go John Rambo. Or my preferred approach, try to score a few stealth kills until I'm detected, then go Rambo... LEEROY JENKINS!

So far so good. 9 puns out of 10. :)
