♥♥♥♥ dawg, this game hard as willy but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it addicting. Every single run I learn something new.
Playing with friends is a blast.
The long list of unique Steam Achievements means ill seemingly always have a goal.
I cant recommend this ♥♥♥♥ enough. Yo gimmie another one of them DLC but with a focus on new items, ill buy it.

Took me and my partner about 45 mins. Was extremely good, lots of fun references. Theres actually 3 rooms! The puzzles were varied and some of them were easier if you had actually played the portal games before.

I have now fully completed a run and killed the final boss.
Iv unlocked another character too.
This game is cute and fun but far to random.
About 3 hours in I figured out the strat/a build I liked and then it was just a matter of the stars aligning for me to get something similar to what I wanted to win the game.

Because the combat doesn't have much of a skill element, random bad luck can often lead to an unwinnable state.
In many other rogue likes, if you get bad luck you can actually out skill it and still win. Not here.

There's this boss that's a literal actual brick wall with a turn limit. Its just a massive damage check and if your build doesn't just happen to be stupid high damage consistently then you insta lose.

I enjoyed my time with this game but I'm never touching it again and don't recommend people buy it unless they add a way to make it slightly less RNG dependant.

I cannot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ get over that I paid $40 for this ♥♥♥♥ years ago with the promise of all heroes being free. Only to find that heroes are not free, the skins are much harder to earn, there is no 6v6 mode, some maps were removed, there's now a paid battle pass and "earning" heroes is no small task, requiring like 30 hours of gameplay each.

EDIT: With season 10, all heroes for all players, even the new heroes, are free immediately without any grind.
Keeping my review negative though because it simply shouldnt have happened to begin with.

While I understand that this is large improvement in terms of on-boarding new players to the franchise and having multiple things to actually do outside of smashing online matchmaking, this is not a game I can in good faith recommend.

The Combo Trials are really finicky, I had multiple trials where I did exactly what was shown in the demo video and failed. It came down to me being a couple frames off. Now you might say "yeah but SF is all about frame timings" and "sped matters" and other things like that. Unless I actually pulled up the frame timing menu in training, I could not at all see the difference. I think the Combo Trials are too harsh and need to loosen up a bit or at least tell the player "you did the moves but not at the speed we wanted you to".

Online play.
Theres semi regular communication issues, loading into a battle hub thing is just plain dumb and having to make a room so I can private match a mate felt like a huge waste of time. Ontop of that, the game would sometimes match me with people who had ♥♥♥♥♥ internet, not often but sometimes. I understand it would be unfair to force those players to not play online but give me the option for how much ping I deem acceptable. Many other games do this with settings or filters where you can set a max ping.

Arcade mode.
I really like street fighters arcade modes. This one is the most bland.
The cutscenes are just comic book cut outs and the "story" is nothing. I know through playing Arcade modes in other games that arcades story is never some big epic but it was certainly more than this.

Technical issues.
I played this game on a Linux machine. The game does not officially support linux.
I am not going to jab the game for having extended shader caching times during its launch window, that would be dumb. But I am going to ♥♥♥♥ on how long it takes to pass the "Press Start" Menu. I press start and I might as well go chuck a piss, this ♥♥♥♥ takes like a full 30 seconds to load into the main menu. I think its connecting to servers or some ♥♥♥♥ but man its annoying.

Street Fighter 6 is a fantastic game but it has launch issues, particularly the online play.
Hold on to your money for now and wishlist this game.

One of the largest pieces of DLC ever made for a game.
A zombies map is normally like $15 by itself.

Here's 8 of them in one package.
One of which is Origins, a map so good that it defined how good zombies maps should play.

You click things, cute noises happen, little hints of what your looking for tell little stories.
Its very laid back and a bit goofy.
Nab it on a sale.

Fantastic art style, graphics.
Fun story.
Solid combat.

I'm actually just overall shocked how good this game is, it pulled me in fast and I enjoyed the whole ride.

Played on SteamDeck with no issues

This is a solid and cute game.
Its also way to long, has a story for some reason and it feels like luck getting a perfect board clear as you have very limited undos and not much vision of the game board.
I passed through the first 3 chapters without failing a single level even once, it was actually just kinda boring.
I then failed a level and realised I have no desire at all to try again because its just to boring.

Its a fun distraction and nothing more. Im shocked 12% of players have 100% steam achievements, thats maddening.
