Awesome game

My friends told me it was a return to Tropico 3s greatness. I agree.

I slept on this game for years and this game is now preventing me from sleeping.

Incredible value for gameplay:money spent.

It's weird man. It's a very hard game to enjoy but when you start to, you get sucked in hard. The graphics make early 2000s games look great. The UI was designed for someone from Alpha Centauri. You'll be punished and feel totally lost and the game will not hold your hand.

Then you get into it and suddenly it's this jank ass immersive gigantic world where stuff is going on and you want to find out all about it and can't stop.

Game is fun with friends but has a disproportionately bad matchmaking system. Being new means suffering against people way better than you for dozens of hours. Eventually you just have sporadic losses against people much better than you. Valve has spent time trying to fix this but they haven't done a good job at it.

There's a really fun game underneath it but be prepared to suffer sometimes.

I love this game. The first time I played it I couldn't get into it. I was busy, distracted, and couldn't focus on it. The second attempt I treated it like a book and fell hard for it. I found myself thinking about the locations and the story when I wasn't playing. It's extreemely good once you give it time.
