It's a great game but you have to treat it "As is" with any updates coming like a bonus. The devs are really bad at keeping the scope of the game under control and focusing on a single project so devblogs sound amazing and updates are slow and under deliver.

Amazing potential and fun ruined by developers that aren't good enough. The games design is great. Its also filled with bugs.

Base game was OK but it felt like I was sold half a game.

Over the last few years they've sold that other half of the game and a lot of it is crap. Do you want to pay $200 for a full game?

Plus a ♥♥♥♥ load of the game mechanics, from corruption to aggressive expansion malus are just there to be anti fun and make the game dull. Buy a different strategy game.

It's a really strong expansion on the base game that adds a lot of depth and challenge. NIghts mean different kinds of income and if your city is too monotone then you'll run into a deficit at night when your commerce and industry slow down.

Pretty good roguelike. Musics great. Nice variety and it's very simple.

It's good for when I only have a minute and just want to go.

It's fairly complete and bug free for an early access game. It's a bit light in content but that won't be noticable until after you've played for 30 hours. With a robust modding community more content is easily grabbed and the updates are always interesting and change the game up in a significant way.

Easy game to lose 100 hours of your life in. Surprised its still in early access at this point, it seems fairly content complete. Good mod support.

It's a great game but user friendliness is a concept completely foreign to the developers. It's not bad but tool tips and hints about what a thing does don't exist, sending you to the wiki to figure out some pretty basic tasks.

A good example is storage. A container has a limited amount of storage. If you want to further limit this amount then you can press a big red X then select how much of available storage you want to use before it stops adding more items.

That's explained nowhere and I only knew it existed because I accidentally pressed it once. The game is kinda like that. Really, really fun but definitely an early access game that lacks the kinds of common sense polish as a finished game.

Despite of this, I've had a lot of fun and it's a very creative game.
