Takes the gameplay of Superhot and elevates it with an art house style story presentation. Not that you have to be paying attention to have fun with it (but you really should)

Not a worthy successor to Deus Ex at all. A lot of the streamlining was nice, such as not having to manually punch in a keycode every time, but I can't help but feel as though the immersion of figuring out the world around you is somewhat hindered by this. It's not as if there weren't effective solutions to this as well-- sticking with keypads, Human Revolution finds a perfect solution by displaying the code next to the keypad if you've already found it (admittedly this disincentivizes actually reading for the code, but it's a worthwhile compromise). It doesn't help that the game was rushed and dumbed down for a primarily console release, and nowhere is this clearer than in the gunplay. In Deus Ex, killing was a means to an end, but in IW, it feels like the entire point of the game. It's certainly not a bad game by any metric, but it's the worst in the Deus Ex franchise and a sheer drop-off from the incredible quality of the first game.

Aside from the people who play this game and think they're philosophers because of it, I have nothing but praise for this game. Incredible world building and storytelling for a game as old as it is. Gunplay's a little stiff, but if you're going into this game with guns in mind, you're looking at the wrong game.

It's a very good background for conversation with friends, and its art style is quite endearing. Can't really screw up a game like this, but it's one of the best poker games on the store and for the price of free. Sucks that single player is laughable, but I guess that's really not the point.

A highly fleshed-out experience with incredible attention to detail, Far Cry 2 tells a disempowering narrative and uses its gameplay to hammer home its themes of desperation and helplessness. It's extremely rough around the edges, but manages a feat that has been largely unchallenged through time.

The definitive Far Cry experience, weaving increasingly-insane gunplay in with a chilling narrative about insanity and the loss of humanity.

World at War manages to fail to capture the grand scale of COD 3 and also doesn't deliver the blistering action of COD 2, instead falling in between the cracks of the two styles of gameplay. It's not a bad game by any measure, but it's impossible to recommend in the face of the other two.

The singular best campaign in any CoD game thus far, Modern Warfare revolutionized the video games industry and for a damn good reason. Easily recommended.

It's breakneck fast and the multiplayer's an absolute blast. Definitely not worth the asking price, though. Wait for a sale.
