I really like the game. I grew up playing the first Dark Alliance on PS2, and now I can play the sequel I never knew but had hoped existed. I played as the dark elf monk on Hard, and it was really fun fighting with lightning fists near the end. It was a good challenge throughout on Hard, but most enemies and groups were not that worrisome. Most bosses and levels I did not die to/in, but the last boss took me hours to beat. I died rarely, but I knew why and I learned how to avoid giant ganks. The last boss is just one super tough ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on Hard as a dark elf monk, at least it was for me.

It's a very fun game, but I wish it was easier to play with my friends. I can play with other people, but since this is the most polarizing Fromsoft Souls game there are apparently not as many people to do PvP with. Good luck being a blue sentinel, or getting enough sunlight medallions for sunlight spear.

I like to gamble, and I like this game.

One of the best games ever made. A lot of things to talk to, kill, seduce, and more! 4 main endings with different ways to complete each one, with politics and morals galore.

It's fun with a friend, but it isn't that fun alone. PvP is very fun usually, but I don't like how there isn't any way to tell if you're going the "right" way. Yes, I know the graces on the map kinda point to something but I don't know what, and I used the map a lot. I don't mind open world games but I feel like the game is "too" open, especially in consideration of Fromsofts previous games. Mayhaps I am just salty because games seem to be more of a chore than fun now, and the only real fun I had in this game was with a friend and making progress. Making progress no matter how slight it is or will be gives me a dopamine rush and I want to go on so I don't hate this game, but I wouldn't have even bought this game if it weren't for said friend.

This is a game I bought on my PS4 in 2019 and was lucky enough to have a redeemable cosmonaut dlc. I played through it 3 times on my PS4 and then in 2021 I bought it on my PC and did a no needles run within a week on Christmas. Years later I still like to boot it up and play the game for at least another run every few months.
