Exactly the same as the Legacy Version, runs 5% better and the graphics are the same.
They removed Text chat, you have to be online for story mode now and they added a subscription service now.
At last they also added an awful anticheat with does nothing exept to stop linux or steam deck users from playing the game, since it doesnt work for Linux.

Playing Grand Theft Auto V for over eight years has never felt dull, especially with the help of mods that breathe new life into the game, expanding and enhancing the experience far beyond its original scope. The singleplayer world becomes more immersive and replayable, offering endless fun through creativity and community driven content. On the flip side, GTA Online has unfortunately become a playground for cheaters, often making the experience frustrating and unbalanced. For a more enjoyable and stable multiplayer experience, I highly recommend exploring FiveM roleplay communities a much more controlled, player-friendly environment outside of Rockstar’s servers.

Man I wanted to like this update to the game, but I'd debatably call it the Dehanced edition. Animals in freemode, cool finally only took 10+ years! Enhanced load-times nice! But removing text chat completely from PC? We can't even converse for heists, missions or races now?!? I don't want to use the terrible in game voicechat which noone uses already. I'm mainly just a casual stunt racer at this point after 1500+ hours on PC alone (way more on console), but I'm already going back to legacy at this point on PC. I get it if ♥♥♥♥* games wants to tone down the text chat spam for people advertising hacks, but they couldn't add a filter or even a 10s delay on messages? After they added the new anticheat making online unplayable on the steamdeck I think I'm pretty much done with GTA. I'm not even excited for 6, and I'm definitly not buying a console to play it and def not at release if it's more than 60-70$. Bought GTA 5 on 360, xbone and PC but you won't find me playing 6 at this point. Rip Dan Houser and Leslie Benzies, take2 has their head up somewhere it doesn't shine.
