After 167 hours I have at last finished The Withcer 3's main story and its two DLCs: "Wild Hunt", "Hearts Of Stone", and "Blood & Wine" and it is bittersweet.

I played through this franchise in the release order. I began with The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, moved over to The Witcher 2: Assassin Of Kings, and then slithered my loaded savefile over to this one. And by god it has been a great ride. If you can afford the money and the time, then I will suggest you play all three in order over playing just the 3rd one. The games choices within dialogue and action carry over and affect the next one when theyre all played on the same system. Not only that, but the story and your connection with the characters will go so much deeper. Yes the 3rd one is miles better in gameplay and graphics than the 2 first ones, [EXTREMELY MINOR SPOILER AHEAD] but at the end of "Blood & Wine" when Geralt is told he deserves a rest and looks into the camera at you and agrees hits so much more deep in your heart with those 2 extra games in your memory.

A steadily climbing line of amazement and joy. The game is certainly the best in both the franchise, and within the genres it is placed. It's The Witcher 3, you've heard of it before. Peek at the reviews, peek at the ratings. Then stop wasting your time and dive into this wonderfully and fantastic game.
