I can say that the game does have a problem with missing. I experienced it several times and you can even see in some of the youtube reviews guys clearly get the shot and then are perplexed as to why it missed.

Honestly, even if this is realistic, this bothered me too. Considering how shaky controllers can be when aiming I think there should be some "light assistance" by the game for holding the rifle steady.

Both your issues are because you aren't aiming the rifle straight. There is a black shadow because when you look through the rear glass you are seeing the black interior of the rifle scope instead of the front glass which magnifies your target.

Make a screenshot that we can see what you actually see.

yeah sure it might be in other shooters but its also like kinda covering my scope? i cannot see

It's also VR and "but it's a video game" is a poor excuse to not attempt realism. I'm gonna chalk your issues up to user error but the black in the scopes is in multiple shooters too, especially more realistic ones like Tarkov. Good luck with the rest of the game, or refund it since you don't like their approach.

im also not missing, i aimed a sniper directly in the middle of a target and used focus and it did not go down

also that is not realistic, i literally could not see through the scope no matter where i moved it the black shadows were there
