New World is a very problematic mmo. When I received beta access I was overjoyed, it was the game I dreamed of. I liked everything about it, from the freedom, to the beautiful world and ending with an interesting main quests and crafting and item collecting. However, then came September 28, 2021, and everything broke.

The game couldn't handle the amount of players, queues on the servers for hours at a time + problems with players being kicked out of sessions. A lot of negative things arose during the launch and the worst was yet to come.
While the first hours with the game were not too bad, more and more quickly endgame problems showed on the horizon....

Endgame was boring, nothing was happening in it. There was not enough dungeons and events for players over 60 lvl + the lack of mounts started to annoy more and more....
Having about 150h I stopped playing after a few months, I no longer had any purpose in this game.

And then came 2022, and the Brimstons sands add-on came out and I fell in love all over again with this game. The desert was beautiful + lots of new dungeons, dungeon modifiers and new weapons made me spend a total of over 500h in this game. At the beginning of 2023 I saw road maps, and when I found out that they will add mounts this year I stated that I will take a break from the game until the release of mounts.

Currently after reading the information that aDLC that increases character lvl cap, tool lvl and mounts will be paid feels like someone spit in my face. This game was a ***, they promised us things they didn't deliver so I still treat it as fixing promises. BUT the fact that I have to pay almost full game price is a joke.

I'm curious, there is still no swimming system in the game. Will you add it in DLC xD? An unfunny joke.

I am hugely disappointed, I will not return to this game again.
