An impressive game, especially considering the budget and, with all due respect, developer behind it. As far as movie-tie-in games go, this is one of the better ones for sure.

The graphics overall look really great, can't say the same about the characters and NPCs though, the enviorenments are detailed and have plenty of nice references to make it worth exploring and searching for little collectibles, which count only towards your level and upgrading your gear, not towards any achievement, which is a great change of pace from the usual collectibles clutter in games.
The gameplay itself is very straightforward, which also makes it a lot of fun; you're essentially a walking tank mowing down enemies. As the game progresses, your upgrades just improve on that and give you a bit of gameplay variety to spice it up. The secondary weapons I'd say are lacking quite a bit, though, as they are rarely a better alternative to your main gun.
The story is also quite interesting, it sparked my curiosity pretty early on and got me emotionally involved plenty of times. The characters are nice to interact with, get to know, and develop relationships with, which was probably my favorite part of the game. Also, the small side missions you get in every main quest, while you can ignore them completely, are fun and worth checking out.

If I were to complain about something, it would be the lack of soundtrack variety, because you get two songs in total, one which you'll only hear once during a quest, and the other which you'll hear tens of times everywhere you go and gets tiring real quick.

As for the achievements, 100% completion is fairly simple, and at most, it'll take you some replaying of certain missions, but there's nothing hard or particularly annoying. It can be easily done even with just one normal playthrough if you pay attention to a few easy to miss things or follow a guide. The game makes and keeps a save for every quest, so going back to them is quick and easy.

A confusing and very meta at times Visual Novel, that I thoroughly enjoyed. Probably the best one I've gone through so far.
The plot starts as very random and confusing, and kinda intentionally stays this way until the end, while giving hints of what it's all about, and by the end, it leaves you with philosophical dilemmas and questioning life.
The voice acting is surprisingly excellent, for both the Japanese and the Chinese versions, though the audio quality itself is a bit rougher in the latter.
I love the character design. I'll always greatly appreciate a good monochromatic stylistic choice with only dashes of colour thrown in, and they nailed that style in here.
If you're a fan of not-so-lengthy VNs, and also looking for something a bit out of the ordinary, then I think The NOexistenceN of you AND me is definitely a good recommendation.

Very straightforward, cozy game with an alright, bitter-sweet story mostly about loss and nostalgia. The stunning art style, with its hand-painted watercolor environments, works surprisingly well. The gameplay is very simple, mostly just walking around and interacting with things here and there. The exploration is somewhat lackluster, with many collectibles that feel pointless, except for the cassettes, which aid the story and characters' development. The achievements are easy to get, but you might have to replay some chapters for the collectibles, some of which are very easy to miss.

Neva is the perfect successor that GRIS deserved. It takes everything GRIS did great, and it does it just as well, if not even improving on it. If you enjoyed GRIS, I think you're certain to enjoy Neva as well for most of the same reasons.
The story is touching, emotional, and charming.
The gameplay is a nice blend of platforming, a bit more simplified than in GRIS, as that isn't the main focus here, and combat, which, although not very mechanically complex, can sometimes prove a bit challenging.
The art is, once again, absolutely incredible. Gorgeous visuals as expected. Every frame of this game is screenshot-worthy and is a work of art deserving of admiration. The blends of colour and light, in particular, are superb. And the soundtrack is excellent this time as well, perfectly matching the look and feel of the game.
For completionists, the achievements are pretty easy and straightforward. The collectibles are easy to find; I managed to get them all on my normal playthrough without a guide pretty easily. There are a bunch of missable achievements, but you can clean them up easily afterwards with the very generous chapter select.

And if all this isn't enough to make you want to play Neva, just know that you can pet the dog (wolf) as many times and for as much as you want.

Many say that this game is just DOOM, but on rhythm, and while that is a fitting description, it's really underselling it because it's better than just that.

The gameplay is great, all weapons feel great to use. If you're not much into rhythm games, shooting on beat might take a bit of getting used to, but when you do get into the rhythm, each shot is incredibly satisfying. The visuals are on point, and the story is simple but not at all bad. And although pretty short, it has good replayability potential and, as a bonus, a decent enough roguelike game mode.

Most importantly, though, the soundtrack and songs are incredible. You're basically buying an amazing Metal album, featuring a bunch of incredible artists (Tatiana Shmayluk, Serj Tankian, Alissa White-Gluz, to mention just a few), and along with it, you get a free Rhythm-Shooter game to enjoy with it. And to top it off, Troy Baker as the narrator. Overall, Metal: Hellsinger is an auditory feast with great, satisfying gameplay to accompany it.

Fish love me, shinies hate me.
How can I report the rat for market manipulation? There's no way he only had one legendary potion on stock in 100 hours.

Incredible blend of roguelike dungeon crawling, base building and management. The combat is fun and quite diverse, although it might take a bit of getting used to if you're not using a controller. Overall, it is fluent, responsive, and really satisfying. Difficulty balance is very on point for the most part, I did find some of the mini bosses to be more annoying and difficult than any of the big bosses, but never unfair or unreasonably difficult compared to the other enemies. The game progression feels natural, and you never really have to stop and wonder what your next objective is supposed to be.
Base management is also very well done, just tedious enough to make you want to care for and improve your cult and followers, but it never becomes too much of a headache.
The soundtrack is also fantastic, just so damn good and fits so well, I don't think I could ever get tiered of it while playing. River Boy left us something incredible to be remembered by, an absolute GOAT.
If I have one complaint about it is that towards the end, if you are going for full achievements, it starts feeling a bit grindy but overall, an excellent game, highly recommendable to any roguelike fan, and even to anyone who's not very familiar with the genre and would like something that's not really difficult, with plenty of content to offer while not feeling endless.

Overall a good DLC with some flaws. The environments look great, the story is really solid, the side characters are very charismatic and nice to interact with and get to know, and it's just really nice to have a protagonist who says stuff.
The gameplay is obviously mostly the same, you do get two new weapons though that are an absolute pleasure to use.
The DLC does, unfortunately, suffer from a lack of polish here and there, many times the movement felt janky, randomly sliding a lot when running, or areas that are supposed to be accessible but are weirdly blocked by random objects or weird invisible walls (of which there are many). That said, I can't recall anything that I couldn't get passed with a bit of random jumping and crouching. One other thing that was quite frustrating was the mutant boss of the chapter, which is just uninteresting, annoying to deal with, and the fights simply drag on for too long. Thankfully, it's not the focus of the story.
