I understand people have a problem with the difficulty of this DLC, but personally I think it's fine. Only issue I had really was not even bosses, but rather some of the enemies in a few dungeons were pretty tough and irritating to get through. The placements, and attacks were also irritating, I am also playing on New Game + and some people said it makes the game even harder, but I find it to be just about the same as if I was doing things in the Giant snow mountains or consecrated snowfields.

I have been enjoying myself so far, and have made a significant amount of progress, I won't spoil anything here, but the bosses have been very fun so far. Only one boss has been kind of jank, and it was only a side boss, all the main bosses are pretty polished. If you want more Elden Ring, then this is totally worth it. I especially like the way the narrative is being told this time around, and I have been enjoying the new characters, they feel more important this time around.

I did experience some stuttering occasionally, but I am sure patches and optimization is going to happen, this review is literally only 2 days after the release. I will say I never was a fan of the boss enemies that are basically just PvP encounters, and I have found a lot of those here more so than the base game I feel. That's just my opinion though, I never liked the player like enemies, its kind of boring and annoying. Hope to continue enjoying the DLC, and hopefully people will calm down about the difficulty and such. Maybe balance changes are in order I have no idea, this is the first souls like I have ever played, and I found the end game of the base game to be rather underwhelming, so this is a good extra challenge.

(P.S, add more steam achievements for the DLC, that'd be neat.)
