The game was pretty fun and had a great style. it had a unique idea of capture the flag but with the idea of stealth. You had to disguise as NPCs to blend in and infiltrate the enemy's base whilst stopping the enemy from doing the same. Then alarms went off and you all exfiltrated.

Unfortunately... it is still a multiplayer game with no solo play components at all. So with the dev team shut down and support finished after just little over a year, you're looking at a dead game averaging a dozen people at BEST globally.
Kinda sad how this cookie crumbled.

Great way to mod the Serious Sam HD games or for a first playthrough with a bunch of QoL and fixes from the Steam Workshop

Fun until it's not, obviously
The ♥♥♥♥ is this difficulty curve?

What really got me is the randomness of when objects/props will let you ram through like a breeze versus when they will send you spinning out from first place into 8th. Makes races past a certain point in the game feel more like a gamble than anything, but really the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ kind of gamble.

It's a fun game. Promising, of course, but not perfect yet.
The best way to enjoy myself here was to turn down all the power drain / subsystem micromanagement stuff that would have you otherwise spending all the money you make trucking on those truck systems. Now you can focus on the fun part - hauling in a space rig.

People are mixed on it but I personally enjoyed the story.
Making Quantum Break both a game and a show combined into one is a bold choice to be sure but personally I enjoyed it. I'm a narrative kinda guy.

For that reason I wouldn't call this much of a shooter - Sure there's shooter segments and superpowers and what have you, but this game is laser-focused on the narrative side of things. Cutscenes and exposition through collectibles.

Seeing the story unravel in such a well-crafted way is a great experience. As usual Remedy's masterful writing really keeps everything interconnected and it's nice to see story beats come together as the story progresses. The little Alan Wake references really fuel me too.

That is not to say that this game is without problems. The game engine stutters insanely in some sections usually before a cutscene, and the graphics can look a little weird sometimes.
I've heard tell of this game being rushed or crunched and I do kind of see it in some plot holes or some things that they were setting up in the story but never got to explaining so well. It's very obvious Remedy were also pining for a sequel. But, you know... Microsoft.

Still, I'm a fan.

Much as I'm a fan you have to understand that you either like it or you don't. A lot of the content is fuelled by "It's so bad its' good".

Inside, the game is packed with content and multiple modes. There are a lot of differences setting it apart from Payday, many of which make me prefer this game as a good substitute. It's Payday with a city takeover quirk. The main singleplayer mode is a roguelite city takeover story but you can play the missions seperately in co-op along with other modes, and not all missions are big heists. Mostly to fit in with the story are smaller missions that focus on smaller targets like enemy warehouses or small banks, so you can select what scale of mission you're feeling up to - Small hits or big heists.
There's no meta to playing at higher difficulties, just keep your wits about you and have a good set of weapons and you're halfway there.
I also like the stealth system much more to Payday's; it definitely isn't as excruciating. When you do mess up your "stealth build" can carry you through loud just fine most of the time.

The game's had a rough launch but it really bounced back and is really fun to me now. And unlike another particular game, it has a roadmap of new content coming out each month this year.

Cautious recommend at best.
This is a port of a 2019 mobile game before it got taken off mobile stores and ported to generation 9 consoles.
Whilst it has its' moments and can be fun, you can feel that it's far too simple. As a mobile game, it's great.
Considering the game all-in-all is very short, likely made for replayability and score chasing, it's up to you whether you find that worth the price at all.

I'll give it bonus points for the secret agent theme that isn't used all that much anymore.
