Uplay/Ubisoft store really is as bad as people say, after buying this and connecting it to a Uplay account, it stopped working after one day, the account no longer recognises me as owning the game so I cannot launch it no matter what I try, contacting steam support only got me a refund for the DLC season pass I had purchased, not the main game as I had over 2 hours of playtime, despite only being able to play the game once, for one day, before it stopped working.

I do not suggest this game to people at all, and I am very disappointed with steam support for their response to my issues.

The error about "ownership authentication"[support.ubisoft.com] means that the Ubisoft account that is logged in on Ubisoft Connect is not the account where your Steam game, or DLC for the game has been activated. This is not to say that you don't own the game, it is just that the game has been activated on an alternate account. To remedy this, please contact the Ubisoft support teams on any of the following channels:

Ubisoft Support Portal[support.ubisoft.com]
Ubisoft Support Twitter (Send as private message.)
Ubisoft Support Facebook[www.facebook.com] (Send as private message.)

They will need to see your Steam ID[support.ubisoft.com], a screenshot of your savegames folder[support.ubisoft.com], and a screenshot of your game proof of purchase[www.ubisoft.com]. This will help expedite their assistance!
