This game is great, but unfortunately dead.

I've played this when it there were still active players, and it was a great deal of fun! Too bad that it has fallen into the viscious circle that results in a continuesly diminishing playerbase.

It would be great if either the developer came up with a way of getting lots of players online at the same moment, or if someone would arrange for such a thing through reddit or so. Some kind of special event, big update with maps and new weapons/parts or a new kind of game mode. Just try to find a way to get like 1000 people online at the same time, and with a little luck the game will revive itself, devs!

I just hope a game like this dying doesn't result in other devs being more cautious of developing inovative mechanics!

Free weekend player here.

I have no idea why everybody says you can only "play 2 levels".

I've played this with a friend and we played every level.

Game is fun, runs smooth. Menus could be a bit more intuitive.

Bought my HOTAS for this game. It's a bit overwhelming for new players, but you'll gradually learn more and more. It's nice to notice your influence on stations in the game.

Smuggle weapons to a station in order to have civil unrest and have your favourite party become the governors of said station, as an example. Or help cure a plague on a station by supplying medical supplies.

Help fight wars, hunt criminals, mine minerals, explore the 1/1 replica of the galaxy or play a trucker in space.

Do take into consideration that this is sandbox. You'll make your own fun if you can, or you won't if you can't...

Even though it is an interesting and beautiful game, it seems too shallow.

I was waiting for something like this for a long time. After a few hours and completing the first 2 missions, I noticed I had seen it all. There's no real challenge to it. As long as you keep an eye on everything, it wont provide a challenge.

I'd love to give it a possitive, but I simply can't since there is so little replayabillity that I've been trying to force myself to start mission 3 for weeks now.

So basically there are 5 hours of gameplay and the rest is the same old thing with some variables.

Edit: 18 months later I've had a sudden itch for playing this game. I've enjoyed some extra hours and completed the third mission. I did encounter a few gamebreaking bugs, though (even though they could be fixed with starting the level again). There's also a few QoL features which should be there, but are sadly still missing. The story shows promise, but it also has a lot of potential for being generic. Some annoyances still remain, like the inability to remove getting certain notifications. With a steady positive income of water and litterally thousands of units in storage, the message that there is a 'water crisis' still pops up every few minutes. The inability to >efficiently< manage power to buildings can lead to a death spiral, even in colonies with hundreds of inhabitants (a small power deficit => no production from certain buildings (and losing the ability for drones to even construct new power-producing buildings) => unhappy colonists => less productivity => less power => dead colonsts => game over).

A nice attempt at an interesting game, but unfortunately it's missing a few key aspects. I hope the developers one day implement some of the highly requested features (or make them more accessible if some have already been implemented).

Edit:
Q2 2022
Checked to see if the game has improved.
Bug in first missions halted trade.
Electricity death spiral hasn't been fixed (insufficient electricity disables option to cut power from certain buildings - construction drones are one of the first buildings to lose power, preventing the player from constructing additional power production)
Sometimes I still get that 'aven colony' itch, boot up the game, but run into dissapointment soon enough.
Minor fixes would make this a colony-building gem, but alas...

Fun timewaster. needs some work overall, but enjoyable to kill time. Wouldn't pay for it, though.

Cartoony 2008 look. Cringy camera controls. If this is what they make after 3 years of development, maybe they should another 30...

I've never played a CoD game before. Might as well give it a go now that it's free/beta.

Guess I was wrong in thinking this was a AAA title. This budget title features nice gunplay and penetrable cover. Options and settings menus lack in usability. Maps are for ants. Sound was mediocre at best. Nice graphics for a 2 man development team.

It's supposed to be a AAA title, you say? It might be advertised as one, but it most definately is NOT.

My tought during the hour I played are below.

- Turned all the settings to max, looks like a 4 year old game. No prob, graphics aren't that important. Guess I was wrong in thinking this was a AAA title.
- Went into settings, navigating was a chore. FOV slider? You must mean FOV-clicker. TBH, bad menus annoy me.Guess I was wrong in thinking this was a AAA title.
- Sound options? Nice! Oh... ON<>OFF. Guess I was wrong in thinking this was a AAA title.
- Let's get playing. Some thing with classes or divisions or something? I'll get to know this when I play more.
- How do I spawn? Oh, guess I'll learn this class system now... Ok I spawned.
- Run around a bit. Map is like 50*50 meters. Guess I was wrong in thinking this was a AAA title.
- Get some kills, get killed some. Gunplay feels regular. No complaining there.
- Penetrable walls? Nice, I like this.
- Played all the modes, seen all the maps [that are in the beta]. All maps are tiny.
- Max player count: 8-12. Guess I was wrong in thinking this was a AAA title.

If you like platformers, play it.
If you don't like platformers, don't play it.

Good tutorial like structure in the first few levels.
Artstyle was fine.

GabeN, we need a "neutral" recommendation.
