It is a good first project. Being able to put together every element with such a small team is great. The aesthetics and art style alone are enough to buy this game.
Good music reminiscent of the great Akira Yamaoka from Nicolas Gasparini (Myuu) empowers the eerie and tense atmosphere, together with a great sound design.
Graphics are good, but there are a few visual glitches, especially at the beginning (like mannequins' hands from one tunnel pierce the wall of the tunnel next to it), and some blood surfaces flicker when you point a flashlight at them.
Puzzles could use a bit more hints, or a change of approach, because for the coordinate puzzle and several others, I had to Google them to solve (basketball puzzle I won't count because it is my problem with sports and mathematics).
The fighting system needs improvements, but it is utilitarian, and there are not many. But please do not make your next project a walking sim, there are enough as it is.
The camera work and angles are very mesmerizing. Although there are several sequences where it affected the fights negatively.
The story and narrative are very good. Because of their subtlety, the game leaves enough space for theories and speculations. And creators can experiment without the fear of breaking their own rules. Some may think that Carlos' arc is a bit of a filler, however, it gives the player more understanding of the Gloom. I hope Red Soul will develop the Gloom concept in future projects.
Overall, the game is very good for those who crave old-school survival horrors like recent Signalis and classical Silent Hills, so don't hesitate and buy it - it's more than worth the small price you'll pay. And hope the Red Souls will become as successful as the Bloober Team.

Playing side by side, I would say that this game is the best way to experience Painkiller nowadays. It has good graphics and the best maps of the original and previous entries. Buy it on a big sale with all DLC and enjoy.

Although re-use of the previous assets, they game has a good pacing. But constantly crashes on the 2nd level. Skip it.

Absolutely secondary and boring experience, absolutely no new features or additions. You can skip it.

It was an interesting idea of a Painkiller with a Max Payne storytelling. However, the level design is absolutely horrible and add-on is very broken. On the start of 4th level there are no textures so you almost instantly die. The game cannot be finished.

It is a great game for those who like collecting and arcade driving. It is also great for all the fans of Yakuza and the Like A Dragon series because the developers not only took great inspiration from Yakuza 1 and 0 but also managed to engage all the cult seiyu's with the voice of Takaya Kuroda as a cherry on top. It has a great, thick atmosphere of a Japanese rural town that you can enjoy like a good steak. The game leaves only good impressions, and I hope developers will keep this direction further on.

I expected much worse from this add-on. However, I received several new maps, some new enemies, and re-skinned old ones. Overall despite several bad glitches and constant crashes, I had my fun with this expansion pack. The technical state is worse than that of the Back Edition.

It was very sad for me to finish the game as I understood that the next season would be out no sooner than 2026 or 2027. It was a game of the year for me in 2023 and is in 2025.
AAAA - story, characters, and narrative.
AAA - scenes and soundtrack.
I laughed, I cried, I had a great time. Don't know if Classy Lemon realizes it, but the Project Passion universe (ProPa-verse) has great potential for various different stories even when the main adventure ends. ProPa-verse's fantasy sci-fi is quite interesting and vast. And with the way, Classy Lemon can convey feelings and intimacy that very few games manage to do, leaves no question in the fact that they can pull off anything. Thank you for this unique experience.

The game still plays great, but the last boss, Alister King, in BOOH, is absolutely broken, which is sad. Soundtrack is awesome.
