The game still plays great, but the last boss, Alister King, in BOOH, is absolutely broken, which is sad. Soundtrack is awesome.

An amazing and epic finale, as it seemed at the moment of release. Yet we know that Kiryu always returns no matter what. I have mixed feelings about this part. On one hand, it really has a great story and directing. On the other, Ryu Ga Gotoku tried to fit in even more character arcs, twists, and events. It's the same as with 0 and 4, at times it feels a bit too much, especially in Haruka and Shinada (proto-Ichiban personality) characters. Up to the next entry in the series.
P.S. Liked the hunting btw.

I have very mixed feelings about this game. I liked the previous entry Vampyr very much and hoped that this game would give me the same emotions. However, at some point, I believe the developers were asked to vastly expand the map and content of the game. This is when the game became overblown. The locations are very empty and running back and forth becomes very tedious. Half of the sidequests are very filler-ish and follow a very basic structure. To be short, the game should've been cut in half. If you leave only main quests and approximately 10 sidequests then the pacing is great. If you start playing the game, I highly recommend simply following the main story and doing 5-8 side quests at max. Hope the developers can find a perfect balance in their future projects.

Had to wait for a year, but finally, the Rise of the Ronin is in Steam. Immediately addressing the elephant in the room, yes the optimization even after 2 weeks still requires improvements, but Team Ninja works hard on improving it. Apart from that, it is everything I ever wanted from the continuation of the ideas of Nioh and Wo Long. Open-world, intense combats, adjustable difficulty and so much more. The only thing I feel like degraded a bit is crafting - too expensive and meaningless given that you constantly get new equipment and weapons. Maybe it is more impactful in the Midnight mode, but would be good to see it in the main game. Other than that I really enjoyed the game. It ran good on 3060TI and Intel Core i5-11400. No problems except for necessary graphics adjustments.
P.S. If you have questions as to is this game better than AC Shadows or Tsushima, then go play your movies. This game is all about hardcore top-quality gameplay and cool characters, so don't bother whining about interactive movies here.

The developers have already announced many fixes for the problems I've faced during gameplay.
Mainly:
Sound mixing (especially considering cutscenes—Settings sound adjustments don't affect them) and the microphone quality of the guy who invites Phantom to the boxing club (I think he is one of the developers, but the microphone quality dissonates other VAs).
Glitches: Enemies can fall almost off-screen and do not get up - ending in a soft lock and level restart.
Sometimes animations glitch.
Difficulty does not affect gameplay, only the number of lives and damage numbers increase.
Boat chase: the bridge sometimes covers the mines leaving you no chance to avoid them. The boat has very bad maneuvering, so it is especially hard to avoid mines.
Gallery touches: Instead of simply clicking the button and seeing info about all artifacts, wouldn't it be better if the player was able to pick particular artifacts on the screen that he found and then read separate info on each of them?

Overall: I love The Phantom franchise (mainly thanks to Phantom 2040 because I don't have access to the comics editions) and I really want to see it spreading more seeing how almost every person now is in some kind of geek theme, whether Marvel, DC, etc. The Phantom has the potential to go into mass-culture as the ideas behind him are still very actual. But the game needs improvements and I'm glad developers see the issues and want to fix them. Especially, this experience will be important for their upcoming Lady Death game, which looks the same as The Phantom.
P.S. Loved the graphics and visual design, animations (when they don't glitch), voices of the actors, and the atmosphere. However, I recommend buying it on sale due to the amount of content the game currently has.
Thank you and good luck in game development!

Very good Metroidvania. Great animations, good music, intense battles, and platforming. Although, in my opinion, insta-death spikes are a bit too much, nevertheless, the game deserves your attention if you're a fan of the genre. Waiting for the sequel with improvements.

It is a fun short shooter. There are a few times when the FPS drops and the finishing animations are clunky, but overall, the game is fun to play. I especially recommend it if it is on sale.

It is a good mediocre game. Nothing too special, a solid simple story to justify your actions. Very good progression system that allows you to be overpowered by the end of the game. I enjoyed the exploration and traversing across locations. The game time is not bloated which is good. However, optimization still requires polishing. There is an input lag on a keyboard as well as a gamepad. No animation or action cancelation. The main heroine is too slow compared to her enemies. Your block and evasion are not always registered by the game, so you'll still take damage. Sound mixing is bad as sometimes dialogues are quiet sometimes music is too loud and it is all unbalanced. I would say with all the jumping and evading, it would be much better as a slasher game like God of War than a souls-like. Hope developers will improve their skills by the next project. It is almost always on sale, so you can get it for a fair price.

It is a good solid stealth action. It's especially surprising this is the first project. My only real complains started at the 4th lever in the 7th chapter, and unpolished platforming sequences in the 8th chapter. With enough devotion, the developers can really try to revive the dead genre of pure stealth games. And also, gadgets except the locator aren't very useful. I wish the developers the best of luck and improvements in future projects.

This game is somewhat of a guilty pleasure of mine. I really loved playing it due to the atmosphere of simple old-school gameplay, amazing soundtrack, and trying to overcome all the bugs, glitches, and crashes - it was fun. However, this game is still in a horrible technical condition, First levels are almost without any problems, but the further you go, the more crashes and bugs you experience. Advice: restart the game if you see no ammo drop or your fps drops. It has something to do with dumping files or memory glitches. Instead of making a slasher Slave Zero X, it would have been better if the publisher made a good Remake or at least Remaster after the Armored Core 6 hype. I would like to, but I cannot recommend this game due to the technical condition.
