Did not purchase or download the new DLC that released today. The game patched about an hour ago. Started Stellaris and the game crashes on load. Does not even get to the Launcher. Repeatable error.

I'm reading from multiple sources that the DLC is broken on release so I will wait until it is playable to purchase it.

So why is the base game now borked?

1500 hours of play time and never had an issue like this. So it's not on my end.
