It's another one of those "only game in town" kind of games. Weird development choices, and delayed features that everyone would prefer to have. Wish there was more desktop support, like third-person.

Cool game, but I'm told nobody wants to play it due to "Touch of Death" mechanics. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Pretty meh experience overall. The story is confusing and forgettable, but the small touches all over make the game somewhat enjoyable. Don't play Online without a cheat program, or you'll never have fun. It's a better game with friends.

Gives the "survivor" genre some more flavor. I'm stuck preferring the mindless wandering of Vampire Survivors, but there's a variety of synergy in each class's skill set that work wonders. The art style could use a lot more polish in the future, but it serves its purpose well enough.

Cool sandbox game that lets you create power vacuums. Wish they didn't move on to Kenshi 2, but I guess they had to get it out the door sooner or later. I also want to train my dude to create masterwork weapons and armor, but that doesn't seem to be a thing. Oh well, at least I can enjoy playing my 4-man JRPG-style party.

This serious literally oozes style. Sure, it's slow-paced, but it emulates the Atari feel well-enough for me--and I never played any Atari games! Lots of great scares and some replayability.

Instant serotonin addiction in a game. Probably one of the best that does it in this genre. Although, the polish leaves something to be desired--especially on the main menu. Would like to have common, static window resolution options (i.e., 1600x900), but stretching it is fine enough. Could use a story mode for a select few characters, but that's just me being an ideas guy. Overall a wild ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

I'm only recommending this 'cuz I'd like to see it gain more steam (lol). It's got all the nice callbacks to kaiju, mecha, and tokusatsu tropes. The combat is fast-paced, which is fine enough for me, but my friend argued that that's not really what they like in giant monster battles. I can agree with that, since slow pacing shows and lets you feel how giant these machines and creatures really are. I'd like to see Woolie (the yeti) retooled a bit, since his entire kit makes it hard to counter. Otherwise, I hope a lot more people see this and give it a shot.

Can't say I recommend this game after all this time. It's good that Hello Games finally bounced back and delivered on what they promised (mostly), but it just feels like a streamlined, uninspired mess. A lot of the 'uniqueness' of the game is just a mish-mash of assets slapped together in hopes of making a memorable experience. Heck, most of the even more 'unique' content is locked behind hours of searching through galaxies that are probably not worth the trouble. The only real use I see getting out of this game is finding planet passwords online, though I'm not sure how that system works.

I think what they got here is good, but it's just not for me. In a sea of randomly-generated content games, I'm starting to miss actual hand-crafted experiences again.

A lot of potential. Needs a lot more refinement when running on Windows, but other than that, just hoping it doesn't turn out to be another Starbound. I only say yes because I'm being cautiously optimistic.
